Below is a link to an interesting dispute involving a Patreon creator and his backers when the creator was removed due to the terms of service. The creator then reached out to Patreon under the terms of service as well as many of his backers, and when that failed filed for arbitration pursuant to those terms. Patreon then changed their terms of service and filed for injunctive relief that the claimants could not file for arbitration because of the changed terms of service that "clarified" the terms for filing claims when a creator is terminated. It really wasn't a clarification. It was a complete removal of such claims. Let that sink in. Anyway, if you like such legal discussion, it is long, but is sure is funny.

Re: Patreon Dispute
An update. Patreon lost their California court request for injunctive relief. Now back to the arbitration.

Re: Patreon Dispute
I have been tracking this as well and I heard similar thing happened to Sargon of Akkad and if his patreons submit claims as well then it would bankrupt Patreon. But I dont know all the deets just saw it on some youtube vids. It is interesting and I dont agree with them changing TOS later on to support their agenda
