Hi from The Netherlands!

Hi all!

I started collecting playing cards since 2018. I fell in love with the artwork, the touch & feel & used techniques.
I am not a cardist, I only unbox the deck & hold the cards in my hand & that’s about it, sometimes I suck at nicely opening the seals..
If I like a deck, I will buy it; out of curiosity, most of the time it's love on first sight & sometimes an unknown force that wants to own a particular deck ;-) Try to keep my wallet closed for those absolutely amazing tarot cards I’ve seen lately. Then I really have to find a different job (or a second one).

My favorite designers are:
Lotrek, Alexander Chin, Lorenzo & Jackson Robinson

What I hope to find in this community is sharing everything that comes with this passion/addiction.
So it's really nice to be here!

Welcome. So many great artists from the Netherlands as well. While that is a great lineup of playing card artists, there are some other talented playing card artists you should consider collecting. Hopefully you will pick some up as they create new decks or you find some older issues for sale. There are also some great older decks that are worth collecting.

Welcome at UC,

make yourself a home and enjoy roaming around. If there are new decks out there, you'll definitely will see a thread popping up about them here. But be aware that joining here can seriously make your wallet weep :) .

Welcome to UC!

If you happend to like custom designed vintage decks jopo! is one of the finest ebay sellers for that. They are from the Netherlands as well. Their selection is changing constantly so they are someone to regularly keep tabs on, you might get some incredible finds.

Several of us watch what jopo has on eBay. Almost everything he sells is interesting. They are all older decks. Some really old and rare and some not so much. Frankly, just check them out. If you see something interesting at a good price, try to pick it up. jopo is one of the really good eBay playing card sellers. You will also find on eBay several UC Members. If you figure out their UC names, you might be able to pick them up a little cheaper on the UC market. However, jopo specializes in older decks that don't show up as often on the UC marketplace.

Thanks for sharing. For now I don't have any vintage decks in my collection, it's a direction I haven't looked into yet. I'll keep an eye on Jopo's eBay and watch and learn wat he has to offer :-)
