Hey all, recently Steve (Co-owner of Woundedcorner) and I have working on a new YouTube Live show called "Deckin' Around". This week we are going to be airing episode 3, but I didn't want to post about the show before it had a reason to intersect with the forum. That being said, this Thursday at 8PM EST we will be live streaming episode 3 of the show, where our special guest will be Matt Romeril (who you all likely know! @Romeril)

I would love if the community would come check out the show, and especially if you would be so kind as to provide feedback to help us make the show better as we continue the development!

We are working hard to make this an interesting and engaging show for the community, with viewer participation, discussion on recently launched kickstarter campaigns, and more. We are also working on building out the calendar of special guests, whether they be cardists, collectors, magicians, or designers. If you are interested in being a guest, or have a suggestion for a guest, feel free to PM me here on the forum or on Instagram!

I love the show so far. Technical glitches were entertaining in episode 1 (and inevitable!) and I like the mix of guests you have had so far. I look forward to catching the broadcast a little late on Thursday. Should be a good discussion with our very own @romeril. Keep up the good work, Tyler and Steve!

Glad you enjoyed the technical glitches! Thankfully our sound has improved now, and there are no more echos We did end up pulling down episode one because of the sound quality during the episode, but we have plans for have Ruth back on the show to do another episode, as she was an amazing guest!

Super excited to announce that we had a whole bunch of Deckin' Around stickers made from some artwork Nathan Oser drew for us.

Nathan is the designer of the recent Riffle Shuffle Sirocco playing cards, and was a guest on Episode 2 of Deckin' Around (Watch the episode here: https://bit.ly/2U9Ye2L" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

As a fun little lead up to each new episode we have previously done a "Guess the Guest" segment during the weekend prior to the Live event. Now that we have some stickers in hand, we are going to start giving them out as prizes to anyone who can successfully identify the guest prior to our reveal! Check out the Deckin' Around Instagram account (@deckinaround) for the clue posts, and DM us your guesses. We are working on getting this up and running on Facebook as well, and hopefully on the forum thread as well should anyone be interested, since I know not everyone is on all social media platforms.

Glad to hear it STL! We are having a really fun time with the show so far, and continue to evolve the format week by week to make it as fun as possible! Any suggestions or feedback is always welcome as well!

Just watched the episode with Kellar and Matt. Matt was a bit too quite though. Would have loved to hear more from him. Awesome episode with Kellar. You guys definitely improve from episode to episode. Nice host duo. I really like a lot of your takes Tyler.

EDIT: guests I'd love to see would be Lee Asher and Joseph Pierson (@pip_nosher). And when you already had Matt, put Bacon on the hot seat as well. Fun guy to watch. And seeing his thoughtful critic here definitely a guy worth talking cards with!
Plus, but that'll be a far stretch, maybe Zach Mueller. Would be dope to here his take on some current playing card topics.

Thanks Harvonsgard, we really appreciate the kind words, and the feedback! We are definitely working to improve with each episode, and this has been quite the learning experience for me, having never dealt with broadcast/audio/video. This episode should have the crispest sound yet, now that I have figured out how to suppress a lot of the background noise from my refrigerator!

But I definitely agreed with Matt's episode! We would have loved to have Matt chime in more, but that just means we will have to get him back on at some point to show off more of his decks and get him more chatty!

Kellar really was an amazing guest, and such an awesome guy! We were glad he has able to do some tricks live, as we lost that chance with Mikayla and her audio only episode.

After chatting with Cam a bit yesterday, I can tell you this is going to be a fun episode as well! Even if OPC decks aren't your thing, Cam is an awesome guy and he is just a pleasure to talk with. He has some amazing entrepreneurial ideas, both with OPC and beyond.

Kind of leary about the next guest though. I know he is a well known name in the community, especially on Insta, but I hope the show doesn't just devolve into an hour an a half of sucking off Daniel Madison and all the shit hype decks like 90% of his posts.

STLBluesNut, that was definitely something we took into consideration when we had Stu on. I have to say, post show, I thought it went really well. He was down to earth, and we got to know him better as a person and not just another Malliance Member, which I liked! We are always open to feedback though!
