Only good thing about this sad launch is it's making me reconsider and will possibly double up on Evil/Good. I'm liking this one more and more. Looks great! Excellent work on this. Thinking I might want a few extra for gifts, maybe also for playing with.... Ugh.

I wanted to see what it looked .... For the deck "Evil Deck" for a game (at least the first consideration) I had more postage than the price of the deck ....
The world turns upside down. $ 7 bid + $ 9 shipping costs to France.

If this was kickstarter you wouldn't be surprised if it said $11 for the deck , Free shipping to the US, and $5 shipping to the rest of the world would you?
But it's the same thing to say $7 deck, $4 Us Shipping and $9 to the rest of the world.

Instead of hiding part of the sipping cost to make it look like you're getting a better deal this is much more transparent, and when it's all working properly, allow for more flexible shipping costs depending on your location.

Not really, I not take generally one deck on KS... Shipping is too heavy.

Hi guys, sorry for my lack of presence yesterday, but I was outside home for a night (the 15th august is holiday in Italy, and I was with my family).

At the moment I see CardLauncher have some problems, so I whink we all (me included) should wait and see how it will turn. I think and hope that the start of the next week the team will fix the bugs. Of course, like everyone, I am pretty sad and angry because everything is not working good. I hope you guys will be patient and give CardLauncher a second chance (or a third chance, point of views )

On the other side, I am quite impressed by the result Good Deck reached in less than a day with a bugged site. This is a BIG THANK YOU to everyone pledged and trusted in Good Deck. Of course I can't do almost nothing about the bugs of CardLauncher, but at least I'll do my best for make the life easier to everyone trusted my project. Write here, post in Evil or Good page on Facebook and Twitter, I'll be here.

@Oswin : as Montecarlojoe said, I think you shoul look at the final price, it's the same as a "standard" Kickstarter project. I agree, the world is crazy and the shipping is high, but that's the price we pay to ship a deck. When I buy other decks, I usually order more than 2 to feel better about shipping

Another consideration: you actually CAN'T buy Evil Deck alone. Only Good Deck is available on its own. If you want an Evil, you need to buy a Good+Evil, that probably (I hope, It's the site that calculate shipping) have a more resonable shipping cost.

Ok guys I want give to my backers an excuse to share my project So I'm thinking to add an extra card in every Good Deck if the first stretch goal will be reached. So everyone will have an extra card. What do you think? Suggestions or requests about the extra card? I also made a Facebook post on the Good Deck page

IMO, it's not just sharing your project you need to work on. It's getting Paypal/Amazon payments on CL ASAP. It'll fund quite quickly once one or both are available. Heck, I'll pledge a pair to try to help.

I got a nice surprise with my mortgage and insurance rates last week so I figured I'd better jump in on these with my extra budget lol

Actually the black on black tuckbox won't be available, it's a unique prototype made by EPCC to test the UV printing.
Maybe in the future, if the project will be succesful, I may print a limited edition full-black and full-white.

Anyways, the final version will be even better, I think Can't wait for the printing proofs!

unfortunately the Good Deck won't be funded on CardLauncher, but I'm planning a relaunch as soon as possible. The only bad news is we have to wait a bit more for Good and Evil Deck.

Anyways, I am really grateful to everyone pledged my project (many of them are from this forum). Thank you guys!

For your deck though, I hope you go back to KS to get the decks in our hands and maybe try your new deck back on CL later. Wait, new deck??? Need details, details man. Now.

Yes, now I have to decide to print the Evil now and fund the Good later or try to relaunch them both. I can't decide now because I need some answers and don't want make promises I can't keep.

I also told Mike that if CardLauncher will resolve some problems, I'm ready to relaunch another deck on it in future. Despite the problems CardLauncher had, I still think there is potential in it.

The new deck will be interesting, I promise, and really different from the Evil and Good. This one will be more...uhm...classic

I think if Gamblers and HMPC promoted their projects to their kickstarter backers there might be more going on with CL but I haven't seen that happening.

Also I know more people would use CL if PayPal and Amazon were available.

I agree - the other payment options really have to be in place beofre more projects get released.

DS is the only other dedicated platform, but to be honest I haven't seen anything on there that really piqued my interest... CL could easily overshadow them simply through project selection (providing all the fixes and additions are in - and to be fair a huge amount has been fixed)

Okay, I'll come clean. I didn't pledge for these or the Venexianas on CL. It's not that I didn't like the cards (I voted for the evil deck in PCF! and Lotrek's work is as amazing as ever). I was just too lazy to input my credit card details again. You'll have my support the next time around, I promise!

I really hope CardLauncher will be improved and becomes a good alternative for Kickstarter, but I think that after this start there is a lot to do.

I am evaluating a lot of ways to relaunch: of course my first choice is Kickstarter. I'm trying to find the best way to open it from Italy (and not only for the Good Deck). If you have suggestions or advices I would be happy.

@Yashi : I was scared that many people was bored by the payiment system...and you confirmed it! To be honest, I was bored too when I had to put my CC data lol

Hahaha sorry, it happens. But that's just me. I was supposed to jump in on the first day but CL wasn't working too well yet which lead to the relaunch. After that, I just kept telling myself that I'd jump in on the last day.

I don't mind doing it once. Doing it over and over and the same site seems over the top and unnecessary.

I understand that one could create an account with WePay and then not have to deal with that issue but it wasn't clear from the first pledge I made.
