My mistake! Completely stuck my foot in it! Sorry about that.

Okay, I'm seeing this, too. I stand corrected, and I take it back. Not sure how I made this mistake, but yes, I see this too, and to make up for it, I'll back the project.

But, to answer the original question, I wouldn't have noticed nor cared if they were NPCC. As a collector, for art decks like this, I don't care who the printer is too much. At the price he is asking with all the tuck features, NPCC printed would still be just fine.

Everyone has their own standard on playing card decks but it still blows me away when someone wouldn't get a deck with great art and tucks because of printer. I just don't understand it, but, it's all good, I don't have to.

I suppose some see my rants about seals just as comical lol. But I wouldnt not buy a deck because of a seal [emoji39]

Dear friends, From this moment the second deck, Ephoros edition, becomes available! We did it and now you can back or increase your pledges. The add-on list doesn’t change and is applicable for both decks. Thank you for the support and all encouraging words in your comments and messages!

Dear friends, while KS is processing payments, we’re preparing all the files to continue communication with the printing company.
As for now we decided to launch a project with Amazons on the Indiegogo. For you this is an additional possibility to purchase Amazons and other decks from previous projects.

The project on Indiegogo will go live tomorrow:
Los Angeles 10am PST
NY 1pm EDT
London 6pm GMT+1?

I wouldn't read much into this. I think that they are just looking to see if they can get some new people to come on board as well, those that might have missed it on Kickstarter, given at this point the campaign managment is mostly just waiting on Kickstarter on collecting the money and waiting on the replys from USPCC.

Normally not a huge fan of running crowdfunding campaigns on already funded products but it's on Indiegogo so who cares. If you can get a handful of people from there to pledge, then it's a couple of more customers for you.

Maybe I'm wrong about this, but for some reason I was under the impression that it was against Kickstarter Terms of Service to place the same campaign on another crowdfunding website, e.g. Indiegogo.
I've spent way more than I care to admit on playing cards, but I'll still buy just about anything that Lorenzo, Jackson, or Gio make.

I guess my impression is that it's against policy to run a KS campaign concurrently with IndieGoGo, but I'm still not sure how I feel. I guess that explains why the delivery date is set so late into 2020. He has to run two campaigns!

I was a bit surprised to read this and I'm not sure how I feel about it, but... I do feel like it went much better with him mentioning it here on his own. If this was found out and posted here by a member, i think it would have been much worse as far as looking shady.

However, maybe it wouldn't have gotten much backlash. This isn't a first time designer. I know some don't care for Sviatslov much, but he is an established designer with a history of delivering well on his campaigns.

Maybe that's what I'm thinking of. Yeah I'm wondering how much more he would get from Indiegogo. I never go there, so I don't know if any card projects are ever get funded there.

It is quite common for creators to move from Kickstarter to Indiegogo after the project is successful on former. In fact, Indiegogo encourages this and it acts similar to how backerkit operates.

Huh. I've been collecting for six years and this is the first I've heard of people doing that. Maybe I just don't back the right projects.

Yeah... playing cards do not feature much there but other categories do. Air deck (initial and 2.0) was one playing card project that used Indiegogo post Kickstarter in the recent memory.

I think it might have to do with Kickstarter's regional limitations. A lot of countries can't use KS to crowdfund or even to set up an account. As far as I know, Korea, Taiwan, and most if not all African countries, etc. are all restricted from KS. Using Indigogo post-campaign allows backers from those countries to participate otherwise.
