I just wanna clarify so that im not misunderstanding: the black tiki deck will be an add-on that has not been unlocked yet, and I have to pledge for the addon as i cannot do so at the end.

is that correct?

@macstrat if we unlock Black Tiki Ultra we'll notify all backers. Also, Black Tiki without foil will not be produced (it's a box only actually, same cards as for White Tiki).

EXAMPLE: All three decks are available. No changes for Red and White Tiki.
It will be only possible to add Black Tiki Ultra as an add-on as the price is different (almost double).

Cartamundi will send me a quote tomorrow.

Great news!!! The Black Tiki ULTRA deck will be produced... I'll post a new update today. Most likely it will be a new pledge level with ULTRA and Standard decks.

Black Tiki ULTRA is available now! Too much foil? I'd like to see this black-silver contrast on a deck! Especially if we unlock inside matte (?) foil for boxes. Contrast colors will be used there.

DISCLAIMER: just a follow-up on @rousselle post in another thread about red foiled borders

1. I have no plans to add this back! I will only consider it if I find how to print face cards with inks at the same price. Full bleed red foil on faces is ... so crazy ... trust me.

2. The second image is just level 80 trolling. Not possible at all. But it's the proof that my updated back design is much better than the original one.

We can understand. What you show/troll is actually possible but it's at L100 or Lotrek level expertise, which sadly none of the big boys can manage to that level of detail.

First of all, it's just a discussion but not a plan.

Sorry, don't have Lotrek decks. I mean this 2nd back is not possible in this campaign!

Reasons:

1) I need a new foil pattern and at least two colors printing, and it's more expensive than US$20-21 for the Black Ultra for such a small print run
2) I don't want to increase the total number of ULTRA decks
2) I don't like dark edges due to white cracks after a couple of minutes of use. I'll try to avoid printing decks with dark edges.

But as a designer, I like this back. So I troll myself

One problem solved - foil on faces. This red edition can be printed without foil on face cards (I use silver foil for Black Ultra). If so, I'll use dark ink and silver foil on both sides for Black Ultra and red foiled back and inks on faces for RED Ultra. But I still need to check with Cartamundi if it is possible to add a 2nd back in a different color. The total number of decks will be 500, so both editions will be even more limited (250+250/200+300/100+400 etc.).

Also, I am not sure if this black/red combo works well (it works for Black ULTRA):

p.s. It's much easier to produce one more ULTRA with gold foil on the back and inks on faces (same one color for Black and Red Ultra):

I much prefer the red over gold. Never thought I would say it, but in this case, definitely red foil. I am still lusting after the back with red one that you have said can't make it. Darn, that one is so nice. Oh well. Nice troll photo anyway. Thanks for sharing anyway.

I love Red!!! Gold is not for this deck! I am just trying to show you that it's not that easy. Gold is almost instantly possible (no changes in the printing process).

So to summarize: Today I'll ask Cartamundi about 2nd color (red) for faces AND about a new color for back design. If everything is reasonable, I'll probably add this Red edition. It's 20% now.

Or it could be even better to keep everything as is. It's just one deck and already three variants. I can use red borders in one of my next decks Also I don't have a box for this deck.

But I'll request a new quote anyway.

Agree! Something like this In the 3rd edition or in another deck And make this deck experimental and very limited.

RE: WHITE TIKI deck only. I'll try to post a new update today or tomorrow. 100% that standard faces will not be used! Even with Tiki bodies! BUT courts will be different. How different? I have something more exciting to present. Just wait
