The way the gold tuck seal sticks out is also quite annoying and the Federal 52 sticker is kinda loose (it is holding the two sides of the tuck together) and gets bent easily, which will crease as it is a foil sticker (there is a subtle crease between the L & 5).
I just can't believe he had the nerve to ship these out, but I guess having to redo them was too much work...it is obvious he just doesn't care.
What i'm most curious about is the fact that it seems Jackson didn't even bother to do a few tests? The deck appears to be the same size as 90% of all the other decks I own, so wouldn't it be logical to make sure the letter-pressed portion fitted nicely before making a whole bunch?
The worst part about this is that the mockup on the kickstarter page look amazing.
Now I needed to go back and compare my letterpressed case with the prototype deck in the Kickstarter. Yes, the final version looks so much worse. It also says the outer tuck case will be hand numbered, which it isn’t. It really would have been easy to include in the design. A very limited edition without numbering is just sad in my opinion.
I never got a hand signed card with my decks, I assumed Jackson was shipping it himself since he had to sign them all. However, with his latest update it says Gambler Warehouse shipped everything except the uncut sheets. Anybody else missing the hand signed card?
Jackson sent them himself. I live really close and just got my cards today. You should be getting yours very soon. I was actually pleasantly surprised how he did the signature/number cards. I will let it be a surprise for you.
