Also waiting for the second batch of teal cause I subscribed to patreon just after the silk preorder,

I thought that Teal and Sand were the only two available for purchase. I knew Frost would be coming soon but didn't know if there would be extras to buy during Teal and Sand.

I'll have to find the email and re-read it.

I must confess, I had expected there to be a sale for Frost for Patreon Patrons as well. Bummer if I missed that.

May well be (hopefully that *is* the case), but a missed opportunity if he's going to end up shipping them out in multiple batches.

That said, doesn't this mean the actual Royal Silk decks are going to be on their way soon? And the actual Patreon decks? I thought Frost was part of that last batch...?

What I thought I understood is that the first Teal/Sand sale was the quasi-public one, for those who bought Silk. There was supposed to be (don't quote me on the timeline) an additional Frost + Teal/Sand sale for patrons only 2 weeks afterwards, but that didn't happen.

Extended silence has meant exciting stuff. Look back at the post following month-long breaks. We got that "industry first" announcement, a couple Redemptions, a change in the Golden Rule design and other fun stuff. So it's not all bad, especially considering we will have another Redemption in the bag haha

Lol, that is true. I should know that I won't get anything until after hsbc posts some photos!

I know this is way past the hype of The Golden Rule, yet I like to posts the side-by-side comparison between the OG Dondorf Shakespeare deck VS Lotrek's The Golden Rule. Just wow, I fell in love with them - definitely like the Jack of Spades - from originally the Gravedigger into a Trumpist. And look at how Lotrek’s retain the close look to the original AS WELL as making the classic imagery for the KoH - the sword on the back of his Highness head






Inspired from Dondorf Shakespeare for real, and Lotrek made a better version~ It is good that card designer is inspired from decks of the past - it helps the modern people to understand the long history of playing cards.

Handling of the cards is good, I see that Lotrek’s printer is improving

Seeing them side by side, I'm having the opposite reaction. I MUCH prefer the original design. The coloring and detail are far better in the original in my opinion.

Got a mail with tracking from GW that only indicates Sand with my patron number.
I understood we would get redemption stories iv with silk players purchase but maybe they don’t indicate free decks in the shipping parcel?

Redemption is Frost, which comes with your purchase of Sand.

I’ve been out of the Playing cards loop for a while, and I’m no longer an Oath Patreon so I don’t see any updates. I’m still waiting for my decks from years 1 and 2 - any news on these yet?!

As per Lotrek’s m/o there has been nothing set in stone, but we are approaching the finish line for the year 1 and 2 rewards. The most recent timeframes given were end of May for year 1, and early July for year 2. Obviously we are past that, but I would wager a guess that both should be accomplished before year 4 starts in October. Fingers crossed!

On his Instagram page, he posted that Royal Silk should be ready to ship in about 10 days - and that was 3 days ago. So, his latest update suggests about another week for Royal Silk and he has previously said Patreon Year 1 decks are already complete. I would probably add at least another month to the "10 days" estimate, but sounds like Year 1 is close.

Year 1 was at one point scheduled for last September. So I'd take all these estimates with a grain of salt.

Well, it sounds like they are almost here, but I really don’t want to miss an opportunity to post a grain of salt snark pic…

I'm not a patron, so I only got the Sand edition.

Wow, the Silk Players is simply beautiful - me a lowly peasant can at least see the artworks of the deck. IF ONLY I can get my hands on the blue one T.T

Just got an email that my Silk Players order has shipped from Gambler's Warehouse. Looks to have shipped on the 11th.

I emailed Lotrek just to check that I was in his list as I'm no longer a patron and had zero contact otherwise. He replied within a couple of hours:

Hi Tim,

Royal Silk will be sent in a few days. Production is over and we are now cutting the decks. By mid next week I'll be ready to ship them. As for Patreon year 2 I am now printing one of the decks (Golden Rule Patrons edition and in early Sept. I will print the Golden Patrons deck. Now that I am free from the Royal Silk nightmare, everything will go MUCH faster. In August I cannot do anything because all workshops close for the whole month.

I didn't get a tracking number yet for Silk Teal & Sand.

So from the latest email that came earlier today, one Redemption IV deck (Silk Frost) comes for free along with Teal & Sand decks for those who qualify.

Tomorrow, we'll be able to purchase additional Redemption IV Silk Frost decks and to get a Redemption V deck(s) (Icons Celestial). More details will be in an email before the sale.
