Thanks for the photos! :drool: I'll post a couple of 3Ds.

Courts were modified in this edition! All four sets are different (pips/colors/boxes/backs, etc.). But courts are the same. I edited outlines (they are gradient red here) and queen's hair colors + made some small modifications. KS edition Aces are different.

I received a couple of questions on how to buy it. I don't think there is a demand for such decks as they will be very expensive (production cost, shipping, basic customization, my time). That's why the Special Edition is only available as a gift! But I may print all or some of them later or may use ideas/back designs to produce something different and print it without foil.

All four decks are still one of a kind, but the artwork is not exclusive :D

Project stats:

* Six unique decks total
* Four decks already made
* Four new back designs
* Four new tuck boxes
* Three bugs found
* Two decks to be designed
* 220 cards exported for printing

p.s. It's crazy as I usually spend the same amount of time to prepare one deck for USPCC. But's it was great fun!

My magic formula promo has expired :D Two UC members will receive their Special Edition decks within 1-3 months.

I'll send decks anytime soon when I have more design ideas.

No usernames at this moment please :lol: as it will be a surprise for at least one of them.

Ommigoooosh!!!! What is that from MPC?! :lol:

Looks like Matt got the flower while I got the stem, which is totally fine with me cuz the KS decks are flowers anyways :D
More photos forthcoming, hehe.

Btw, can we add "No.7 Playing Cards" or "№7 Playing Cards" to the title of the thread? Easier to identify I think.

Are you sure that the red deck is the best? :lol: I'll wait when (and if) winners upload some photos and I'll post some 3Ds. I like all four decks.

Lol, guess I should wait until I have the other decks in hand. I think they all are incredible looking! I am not sure why but I find that red deck very very attractive!

I agree! I like this Burgundy color as well. But some very unusual color combos are also possible in the remaining decks.

p.s. I hope @pipchick will never post her deck's photos :lol: It will be fun. :twisted:

I wanted to take more photos today, but I'm not happy with the lack of sunlight in Scotland these few days so we'll see.... The deck deserves some good shading and colors.

Thank you! Enjoy! :ucstar: Also, I like how you describe decks. I need one good speech-writer! :lol:

There is something not quite correct with the card's colors (lighting/color temperature or my settings) :lol: I don't know. I usually increase brightness by 15% to print with MPC.

Maybe my rendering messed with the colors of the cards; the cards/colors look exactly like your renders with my eyes. I probably shouldn't mess with lighting and ambiance so much in the next post :idea:

No worries! :twisted: Colors on the boxes are correct anyway. And I used the same colors for the cards (but with +15% brightness). That's why I mentioned it as it's still unclear how to print at MPC. Without some brightness adjustments, cards are too dark.

As for the photos, most likely it's just color temperature (cool/warm - blue/green etc.) Not a big deal! :mrgreen:

OK, so I guess I'm done-zo for the photoshoots, but :ucstar: SPOILERS WARNING :ucstar: for those who decide to see the design for yourself when you've received yours. Besides, Alex said that this edition does not reflect the standard version that was funded on KS. Not only the aces are modified but also the hair for the court figures are different.

KS update: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mo ... ts/2804425

1. Production has been completed! I am now waiting for the final samples. Then I'll ship decks to Germany/USA for fulfillment.

2. Half of the world is in COVID-lockdown. That's why logistics is a real nightmare.

3. EU backers will start receiving decks earlier (April). NZ backers will be first who receive their decks.

4. US backers: Due to the current global situation, there may be a delay (end of April/May). Thank you for understanding!

5. Australian backers: I am planning to send decks from New Zealand as soon as our lockdown is lifted.

I am going to say it again. No one can do cold foil right except Montenzi. He is in a class of one when it comes to cold foil.
