At 5,000, which has been said over and over again isn't a limited print run anymore, I can't imagine they'll never go on sale.. and they sure are sexy.

So what's the scoop with these? Is this going to be a KS? And if not, where and when do they go on sale? I'm really looking forward to these.

Still a limited run, it'll never be more than 5k. Perhaps it's not as rare as it was before compared to other decks, but those are two completely different things. ;) (And to be completely honest I consider a 5k run of a deck like this more valuable in my eyes than 99% of the KS decks no matter how small print runs.)

They'll be sold by multiple retailers, I'm trying to find some kind of list right now so we'll know where to look and if the Bankrolls will be available as some kind of incentive somewhere.

Official trailer is out (and yes, you can actually see the cards. :D )

I'll be picking these up.

EDIT:

Just got word that these will be up for pre-order at:

Art of Play = http://www.artofplay.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
JP Playing Cards = http://jpplayingcards.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Gamblers Warehouse = http://www.gamblerswarehouse.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
RunIt Decks = http://www.runitdecks.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

So far only GW have them up (and so far only one of the two decks), but the others should be right behind. Will be more sites soon, but these were the first ones.

Thanks for the mention Marcus! We too have the standard version available for pre-order now and expect the heat deck to follow soon (all being well).

Yeah, whoops... it was not really clear on whether I was supposed to launch that one yet or not so just to be safe. :mrgreen:

They haven't sent us anything for Heat image-wise but as soon as we get the word I'll post a link.

That's too bad. I was also hoping for a clear difference between the editions. It seems it is just back and box differences? Anything else or possibly box construction or card stock differences?

EDIT - Also, are there 2 options for the standard? The description seems to state this, but no option to pick.
This first, exclusive series of Run Playing Cards will come in 2 variations with the hardened case cover: Run: Standard Edition - Gamblers Green and Gold (limited to 15,000 decks)
EDIT 2 - I think it just means the first edition is standard and comes in the single option case cover of green & gold, not two options.

I don't need a pic to pre-order Heat stateside. Already seen the backs, good enough for me. Linkies on Heat for your dear friend Fes, so I can order my bricks? :D

Geez, too many places to choose to pre-order from. Without me looking back pages, how can one acquire the Bankroll deck again?

So why is everyone running for preorder? Standard is a print run of 15k and heat is a print run of 10k. I don't see these running out of stock anytime soon.

I do t think the bankroll edition is available as of yet. Remember, it's supposed to be a rare print run of only 5000 decks.

Jason said they're not available for sale, only via contests, giveaways, and to dealers who order in bulk.

Run (standard) - 20K decks - Limited - $9.95

Run: Heat Edition: 10K - Limited - $14.95

Run: Bankroll Edition - 5K - Limited - Not for sale - available through contests, give-aways and will be available to dealers who order in bulk.

Why not? It's affordable for a deck with so much features. Plus, instant gratification. The deck ships to you the moment they're available.

Affordable for decks with massive print runs? I beg to differ. I fully expect these will be available for less in the not so distant future.

Most of the big boys (E, T11, D&D) print run is 25k, on comparison the RUN print run is quite low. So yeah, I do expect a rather quick sellout.

You are right, they do make those big runs, but we have seen a 15% depletion of stock just in pre-sale in the first 24 hours. I feel this one is going to move incredibly fast.

I just mean that people probably won't be as hesitant to buy because the price you pay for a deck with so many features is pretty good. It has a hard case, foiled, and nice design. It's an attractive deck at an attractive price, regardless of the print run. At least in my case, it's easier for me to justify buying this for $9.95 than the 52 Jokers deck for $35 (I'm NOT complaining about the price of the 52 Jokers deck... Just using it as a comparison to show why someone would be more inclined to buy one deck over the other, based on features and price). Granted, the Run deck has a larger print run, but sometimes that doesn't weigh in so heavily with people who just like the deck design.

Also, yes, the price may go down in the future, but that's an unreliable thing. I'm sure there's loads of David Blaine Green Gatorbacks out there that people don't need, but you don't see anyone selling it cheaper than $5. I'd rather buy it now than wait 3 months later just on the chance I'll save $3-4. Maybe I'm just impatient. :P I'd definitely wait if it was a $50 deck that went down to $16.

Another unpublished fact is that there are 2 gaff cards included which allow you to do a ton of gambling tricks, transpos and proposition bets. There is a URL printed on the inside of the tuck which gives you access to a video which teaches you how to use them. Fun stuff. Of course your standard reveal gaff is on one of the two Jokers as well.
