I second this thought, especially since receiving the Monoliths and realizing that the numbers are likely to be damaged when the seal is cut open!STLBluesNut wrote:Gio, please please please do a bottom tuck seal like The Parlour?!

Re: ORDER by Thirdway Industries (Friday June 28, 15:00 GMT)
I have to say that Monolith seals are easier to remove than the other decks I've did. I managed to remove them perfectly without damage the tuck (the pics of those decks are the ones on my website).
However, basically all decks are completed, I've designed the last card yesterday. Now I "just" have to wait, prepare the printing files for USPCC or Cartamundi and the add-ons.
I have some ideas for this campaign
I hope to see you'll there, there are a lot of early birds rewards and some very valuable (limited) bundles

Re: ORDER by Thirdway Industries (Friday June 28, 15:00 GMT)
I have tried to peel off the seals before. If they don't tear, it leaves a sticky residue and usually peels off foil on the tuck.
I'd would rather not cut them but I feel like I pretty much have to do it that way. I would rather not have seals at all but I think k a bottom tuck seal is a great compromise.

I was looking at the most recent new KS projects and it did not show up. I had to search for Order Playing Cards to find it.

Re: ORDER by Thirdway Industries (Friday June 28, 15:00 GMT)
I missed the early bird trident because it took me too long to double-click my side button (damn you, muscular dystrophy!) … and then I took too long to use face ID and had to use my passcode … and then I was attacked by a bear …
Note to self: stop using ApplePay when you're in a hurry. Nevermind, I'm glad to be part of another awesome TI campaign; looking forward to the treats you have in store for us, Gio!

Woo backer #2 lol. I usually wait until the 48 hour reminder for projects to make sure I have the money and definitely still want it so this is a new experience for me, but no need to wait in this case so I decided to get in early. Boy did those early bird tridents go quick!

Re: ORDER by Thirdway Industries (Friday June 28, 15:00 GMT)
Yeah, as soon as I posted above and returned to KS, there it was. Cool.
Ordered more decks than I really should, as always. I may regret not ordering more, though. Because, that's how I am.
Again, I think this is an absolutely brilliant theme. As someone who majored in "Russian and Soviet Studies" at university and who studied Russian for three months in Moscow during the waning years of the Soviet Union... I find this theme to resonate *profoundly.* I had purchased several propaganda posters while I was there -- they really were still a thing -- and t-shirts as well. Statues of Lenin were everywhere. It was fascinating and surreal.
And, more relevant today than ever.

Re: ORDER by Thirdway Industries (Friday June 28, 15:00 GMT)
I sent a message to Gio because the campaign is tagged under "Games" instead of "Playing Cards". Was that intentional or is it accidentally in the wrong category?
In for the Trident. I wasn't even sure I wanted to back the campaign and I have stayed away from this thread to avoid the temptation. However, after seeing the decks (especially Electus) and the fantastic campaign write-up, I was hooked.

I missed the start on this one. No EBs left I can afford. I’m in for a regular one of each. Nice start to the campaign. Glad to participate. Congrats Gio.
