Gross. Pass.
So, effectively, it will be a $250 box set once you add in the 3 editions yet to be released in order to complete the set. Grosser. I think I'll be happy with the Black Standards and call it a day. They are beautiful decks, for sure!
That's exactly what I was thinking, one black deck will be sufficient for me. Maybe one of the next set as well. I'm not crazy about the red tuck box compared to the black one, and definitely not feeling $200 on the "collector's" box.

One thing to consider is that the gold version could be worth upwards of $100, give or take. That's not the mindset you should ever have when buying cards IMO but like I said, food for thought. It will be "rare" and fan boys will help inflate the price on ebay.

I would assume the Gold decks are going to be pricey for completists, but artificially inflated by huge proportions. My favorite is also the black tuck. $12 plus shipping with the discount isn’t bad, even kind of good.

I do not think there will be many Limited gold versions for sale on ebay. Why would you buy a box set for $200 and then turn around and sell the gold deck for let's say $140 and get stuck with a now incomplete box. Even if you could get double price for the other two decks, you would just break even. I have a feeling resellers will go for the boxes resale not the limited deck... But we shall see

Like I said earlier, the Bucks strike again - over-hyped and over-priced. This gives me a T11 vibe - exquisite tuck box, but when you open it up and look at the cards you feel a bit disappointed, all at a 1.5X price factor over T11. It looks like they printed at least 1500 decks each for the black and red versions, so it's not even all that "limited", especially knowing there's at least another 4500 decks coming out with the remaining 3 re-color versions in the future. I would rather the twins have MetalLuxed the backs and charged $20 per deck instead, I would definitely be interested then. But as is, I don't really see anything compelling about these over any other T11 deck released in the past 3 years, and they're one-and-a-half times more expensive. I do like the AoS, an early contender for Best Ace for our next DOtY contest. That half-brick box is very nice as well, I like the touch of the leather lined interior, but no one should be surprised by that excessive price from the people who sold $100 finger nail clippers. . .

Eh, with the discount code one deck's cheap enough for me. I have a Russian deck with a similar vibe; this one should make an interesting counterpoint in my collection.

I think it's sticker shock, to be honest.

They probably would have sold better if they didn't make you buy the box to get all three decks.

I ended up not getting any, myself, because I couldn't justify the $150 for the 3 deck box. It looks rad, it really does, I'm just not sure about $150, for three decks, and then the prospect of having to buy three more decks (assuming they follow through with the series) to fill the empty slots and have a complete set.

I'm observing the sales rate as well, and it seems the hype isn't weighing in on the box since it's too pricey. I don't know about others, but I assume a good portion of folks that got the box were in for the art instead of the hype. I got it for the art, so to speak, and I don't mind if there are another three versions coming out; the three now are enough. Unless the following three's design is drastically changed, or else I could just throw in some AoP decks I currently have to fill in the slots.

If I could've chosen, I'd go with the black, gold, and empty box. No love for the red.

I went with one black deck. I didn't care for the red. The box is beautiful and with the metal plate and inlays, may even be worth it, but I'm not spending that much.

At least in the video he said the remaining 3 decks are not just recolors. They will be similar and definitely part of the set, but different.

I feel the same about this gold deck and all the other artificially inflated by artificial "rarity", its crap and not buying it. I don't care if a deck I like has 1000 copies or 100,000 copies. I like the deck and the art. I don't like a deck because there are only 250 of them.

I ended up pulling the trigger on these, thanks to the code shared by aardvarkgod, and mainly because of their great shipping rate. $19 to ship 6 decks internationally is not somethig that you'll find elsewhere (not even on KS). I recall buying the Tavern from T11 and ended up paying $30 on shipping (luckly I had some Elite points to spend).

Back to the deck, it looks fantastic, the box is gorgeous and the aces and pips are fantastic. The courts are also good, but given his lastest decks (Tavern and Tom's Town) it kinda becomes more of the same. Although these courts are better. So if I knew beforehand that these would be released I'm sure I wouldn't bought the Tavern and Tom's town decks, as this one has all of the good things of the other two decks in one!

Well, I was toying with the idea of going for the box with the 20 per cent. discount but then I saw the shipping quote of US$89 for the cheapest option (wtf) and that was the end of it. Went for 3 each of red and black.

Yeah, but my shipping was like $10 for the box set and 6 extra decks, which is way less than it would be domestically. Heck, I paid $14 for just two decks domestically (which is much higher than postage). Although, I do get that heavy stuff gets even more costly shipping internationally.

My question is what happened to the Free Shipping...last year it was free shipping after spending 75, then changed recently to 150 and now its gone :?

My order turned out to be $156 with the 20% discount + shipping $33.48, ending in a total of $189.48 to UK. So naturally I got it for landing at price tag still cheaper than expected, better than free shipping. Although I had to drop a few KS pledges for this…

I'm holding onto my money, because I can basically guarantee you, that there will be a box set with all 6 decks included in the next 3-deck release.

I'd rather get all 6 (and both limited) decks at the same time. The price will likely be more palatable.

when i looked i could only get 89 dollars shipping to UK, i was at work and in a rush. I did get one mind as i do like having the boxes..... for this reason i purchased the citizens box on black friday which i was very happy with in the end..... i will only purchase the box if i like the decks
I also recently picked up cardboard carat brick box although not designer box, its the best one i have found to store 100's of decks and looks like it will be stackable too : ).. A little off topic, sorry !!

I know us Australians get a raw deal sometimes when it comes to buying stuff from abroad but [*BAN-INDUCING* HECK]! I do like these cards a lot, but $130+ a piece (all told) is just insulting. To put that in perspective, I budget on KS about $60 for a pair of decks. The last purchase I had in a similar ball park was Alex Chin's NPCCD 2108 set and they were ~$60 a piece.
