I don't see any lies there..? Just apologies. Until he either delivers, or dies, or I will allow if you die first that counts too, he is just being slow and communicating poorly...

In that last update a month ago, he talked about going to the shipping facility that week and prepping orders since he reached some sort of deal with them. He claims to be "busting his ass off" trying to get stuff out, even if its slowly and that he's "chipping away" at it. That all implies at least some orders should've been shipped out since its been a month since that update. But if that's the case then how come we haven't heard of anyone here at UC, or anywhere else saying they finally got their orders? You would think at least a few people would've posted on his Kickstarter comments section that they finally got their decks. The odds suggest there should've been some word out there if anythign has gone out, but absolutely nothing, nada, zilch. Talk is cheap, especially from erik, so I can only go by results, and since there are no results, I can only conclude he's lying about getting stuff out. At the very least, he's lying about being sorry with his shitty communication, because if he was truly sorry, he'd correct that and be more communicative.

So really you are just taking speculation, citing it as fact, and passing judgement with literally no information?

Look around you, do you see any windows? Do you see any bears? Has anyone else around you seen bears nearby? The windows must keep the bears away. Surely if the windows weren't keeping the bears away surely someone would have said something.

I think your analogy is flawed, so let me help you out with it:

I live in town with a zoo. The zoo keeper claims a few of the bears have escaped. Now escaped bears would be big news, especially since its such a rare occurance and my town in small enough that if any number of bears actually got out, there has to be some evidence or news of it. That's not speculation, but statistical probability. But after a whole month, NOBODY has seen any bears, heard any bears, smelled any bears, or witnessed any kind of evidence of escaped bears. Therefore, I will reasonably conclude the zoo keeper was pulling a fast one on us and lied about any escaped Sybil cards, er I mean, bears. I hope this helps, buddy.

What actually happened was that a couple people found a couple of the bears, told the zookeeper, not you, but it never got reported on the bear-watch-zoo-breakout-forum you happen to be a part of because those people that found some of the bears aren't on the bear-watch-zoo-breakout-forum. But because you feel like you should have heard if any of the bears turned up, because you set up bear radar, or punched 'where are the bears?' into google, you assume none of them have, and so you call the zookeeper a lying piece of shit. I think that's a little harsh.
I appreciate that you are upset, you clearly feel very strongly, but I don't think that justifies you reacting like a 7 year old. Wait, are you a 7 year old? Is it insensitive of me to assume you are an adult? Based on your logic, because there is no evidence to the contrary, you must not be an adult. I mean, all of the places I have looked aren't able to confirm you are an adult, so you must not be right? But I try not to pass judgement without all of the facts...

Can't argue with you having a wrong opinion, you are perfectly entitled to be wrong, actually. And that's really a beautiful thing about opinions, people get to have wrong ones and that's ok.
And you know what, once there are facts and not just the absence of facts, which coincidentally don't equate to facts, and you turn out to be right, I will be the first person to take a knife and fork to my boots.

We all base our opinions on the facts that we have in front of us. For me here are the facts that I have.
Erik asked for more money from me and I sent more money via paypal in Dec 2015. It was after the lack of communication that I filed a complaint with paypal and the money was returned. I have since asked Erik again over facebook and over kickstarter if he needed the money resent to get my cards out. I would be happy to provide correspondence if anyone wants to see but I do not believe I was rude in anyway. I have since been blocked on facebook by him and do not want to use the other ways that I have to contact him just yet.

He did not have the money to ship out the cards.

He has not communicated.

Nobody reading the forums has received cards since the last update and no update saying cards have gone out.

This whole scenario is b*llshit. While I think he'll eventually send the cards sometime in 2017, this whole problem is solved by him going to the bank, getting a loan to pay to have everything shipped and paying off the loan on terms he's comfortable with. If he's a homeowner, he uses part of his equity in his house to get funds. Simple.

According to his latest KS update (which is surprising in and of itself) 30 orders were shipped out. Slow and steady wins the race I guess. I don't think he's lying but why only 30 I wonder? Hmmm

Probably all he could afford out of pocket for the moment.

Slow is much better than nothing I guess. I'm just glad to hear something. Here's to hoping I am one of the 30.....

I'm one of the last backers with the exception of the Signature set.

At this point, if I get them within the next 5 years, I'll be happy.

FYI, just got my Gold and Platinum Sybil decks w/ a collector box and matching numbers. Still missing the Sybil livida deck, not sure why it wasn't part of the shipment but probbly going to grab one from ebay at that point.

Thats great news farmisen. I've been checking KS everyday since the update, hoping to see a report of received decks - but nothing yet.

Great to hear that someone has received theirs (even if incomplete). Only about 580 backers to go

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up and a ray of hope, I just received the plat/gold reserve decks with 3 collectors boxes but am also missing the Sybil Livida deck.

I have also posted on the Kickstarter page as well.

I can still buy these? plat and gold reserve i mean :S

This is weird how Erik is missing the mark on the Sybils when he stated that he went through all these orders himself to be sure everything was inventoried right with matching numbers, etc.
