What is the November Shorts deck?

I am fairly sure it is Invocation. Next month is the Christmas deck, and then there is the 13th deck followed by 20/20. It has to be the subscription version of Invocation.

It is Invocation which I really didn't feel like I needed another version of. Also not clear if it's just more tuck swaps or any difference to the KS decks. Would be nice to get some clarity.

The Subscription Invocation is a completely different set of cards, not just a tucks swap. Even the limited and standards have different back colors. The courts are fully colored and the colors are amazing!

Aww, that's gotta suck.

Good luck finding something else.

BTW, did JR' ever say when he's going to open the Table players and Bicycle subs? Also, is there a schedule JR IG live ? I can't seem to find it on the KWP stories when I missed them that day.

So it looks like the BF sale for shorts subscribers is going to kick-off tomorrow. Does anyone know whether this is going to be 12am (midnight) central or mountain time?

Man. I put the triple set in my cart and checked out all within 15 seconds and it was sold out. Seems impossible, but oh well.

Same here. I still do not know how some people can get it through so quickly. Same thing happened to me with the Steve Minty sale a while back. Very frustrating. I guess I will try again with the next batch, not holding my breath though.

I wasn't surprised the first round would go fast. Probably the others as well for the black edition. At $80 though, my interest is limited. Hopefully folks can't get in for second and third sets as the new waves open up and will be restricted to only one order. I tried too and was killed in checkout, which unfortunately is slow for me.

The difference between the original Kickstarter Black Reserve Note deck and this new one is the color used on the tuck, correct? The cards are still the same?

I picked up a regular green Black Reserve Note - I was tempted to get the black gilded version but I'm not sure the black gilding is worth forty bucks

Still had 200 standards left when I got mine. Considering this is one of the most expensive regular decks by JR on ebay, I appreciate that he's released a reprint of it at the same price it was sold on KS at $40, but probably with better quality overall. Plus he's reprinted Ironsides with USPCC.
If I recall correctly on IG live, (and I don't recall seeing this mentioned on UC yet) JR did say that he's planning to release 3 versions as KWP flagship decks which will always be in print and sold at $12 each.
They are:
Federal 52, Maduro and Crayons
Except for Gold certs, White reserve notes, Baker St Holmes and Haunted 8's; most of JR's decks are reprinted , have cheaper variants or still available at fairly decent prices (for the out of print ones) .
So I like that JR has given newer fans a chance to get most of his popular decks at reasonable prices by reprinting them.

Agreed on that. Definetly nice.
Thanks for the update. Old Ironsides by USPC... sounds like a must have for me.

Seems odd that the crayon deck would be used as a flagship deck.

I don't think so actually! People generally like the Crayon deck from what I've seen, the tuck is simple while distinctive, the cards are colorful, and I imagine JR especially likes the cards his kids drew

To me Maduro is the strange choice

I was surprised by that as well. Figured he would use Tigers instead of Maduros. I forgot to add that he said he will be doing another LE run of the Maduro Golds with a modified cigar box and with the cigar band actually on the tuck instead of separate.

Yup, reading Maduros was odd for me, too. It was one of the KWP decks that took the longest to sell out and despite the awesome tuckbox on the Gold some people I know (me incuded) weren't fans of the bodyless courts approach. With
real courts and the tuckbox would it be a favorite of mine and sitting in my collection, but as it is even the awesome tuck doesn't reel me in.

Why does it show (at least for me) that the shirts and the Old Ironsides from the Black Friday sale are still subscribers only? Will they stay subscribers only? Even if stock is still available?

I also asked about that on an IG post and never got an answer. Not sure if it was intentional or not, but hopefully he'll open them up to others soon.

I joined the Shorts subscription in 2019. Will I have to resubscribe in 2020 or will my current subscription roll over to the new year?

I saw him on a livestream the night before last. He was telling us to expect an email in the next couple of weeks about renewing subs for 2020. You will definitely need to re-subscribe but he said everyone who is already a subscriber will be able to get back in with the sub they want (he didn't mention if numbers will change). He also said anyone who is on the waitlist will be able to get the sub they want, then he will lock it down.
