Probably. I was a weeb before it was cool, obsessing over Starblazers and Speed Racer when I was 10 (and yes, already knowing they were originally Japanese cartoons). Took Japanese language in college and spent a transfer year at Kansai Gaidai University. These days my weebness has mellowed, but I still consider myself a Nippon-o-phile.

I just went to the theaters to rewatch the remastered version of perfect blue. RIP Satoshi Kon.

I have loupes and visors and binocular telescopes - analog and digital microscopes - glasses of all magnification with a wide assortment of clip ons to boost them - enough hardware to please a clown car full of ill sighted craftsman
