Sweet grab, Winnie .

The NHL playoffs have helped me out a lot. I managed to resist making any deck purchases this week. Even so a couple decks arrived this week that go directly into the collection. I'll look forward to the rest of the Kodiak order arriving when they're all stateside and all that. I usually don't pop tucks in august (humidity swings) so the wait isn't a big deal. The chunk of plastic there, that's a great goof isn't it? Cracks me up. What a great gag. (keeping it sealed for poker night! hahaha)

Got lucky in a deceased estate/general auction at the weekend. Didn't even show up for these -- I was there to get a dining table -- and I got them at a bargain basement price.

Sweet!!! I always find stuff I had no idea I was even looking for at estate sales, and rarely, if ever, get what I was actually trying to find. A few years ago I went in looking for a cookie jar (of all things) for my wife and walked out with a 1st generation 1923 Colt single action Army revolver.... for the paltry sum of $165. I still have it and have turned down offers of WAY more than $165, for sure!!

Bids started at AU$50. One other guy bidding, but I’m pretty sure he was a plant and not a collector. (95% of the time he was first bid).

And for those not asking: yes I got the table too.

Another day, another mail day.

I've talked to a friend about stock and finishes lately so of course Bombmagic's (TWPCC printed) Fujin an Raijin deck came up again - I'm a sucker for that deck. Linen finish but not as deep as Cartamundi's. Very subtle and not so much in your face. Fans like a dream, spreads like butter. Way snappier and sturdier as superlux or slimline stock, which in my book is a plus also.

TL;DR: I emptied my local store of its remaining Fujin stock (which wasn't that much, lol). Orange Aristocrats added for free shipping. Orange is perfect for the late summer and upcoming autumn.

Here's what me has this week. Woulda been yesterday but USPS has been facing some issues of late. It effects us in rural areas more so than other folks. Saturday is as good as any other day for a nice little snippity snap.

Latest pick-ups. Mixed bag with this delivery.

LeChat ticks all the boxes. As an older EPCC release somewhat on the smelly side but besides that, top notch. Besides the superb artwork from Lorenzo the handling of this deck really shines. Buttery fanning and snappy stock. Some might like it softer but I quite enjoy stocks that are on the stiffer side.

Modern Idols left me a bit . Especially the blinged out Endless Editions. I'll explain in the according thread.

Postman was good today. Nice to be able to tick these off the list.

You got a WAY lower number than I did on the Edred the Gizzard deck... mine is like 389 or something... not that it really matters but I plan on picking up a few more of the King’s Wild decks soon.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw that photo. He has a way lower number than me. Then I checked my decks and realized I had my subscription numbers 131 and 156!

I picked it up from a former Subscriber, not the current sale on KWP. I love the tuck with the copper and all. Deck is a nice idea as well. The cards are EPCC and besides the smell, which hopefully will go away, are pretty good, they handle awesome.

These came in this week. Gorgeous decks and they feel amazing.
Really must be experienced in my opinion.
