I think this is a great thread! I also have gotten quite a few decks lately, some pretty unique ones. Now that I have throttled back my buying some, I have time to actually open some of them and take photos. I will post some here.

Nice deck masagin303. Thanks for sharing.
I came home from the 52plus joker convention with nearly 80 new decks.
I'll try to post some pictures over the weekend
What I find amazing is not that CBJ spent a ton at the Convention. I understand that is a hazard of attending.
However, are there really 80 decks out there that CBJ doesn't already have???

I got this Ganjifa set this week.
i believe the set is called "Ath Rangi Sara" and was made in the Puri district of Orissa, India (hopefully Guru can chime in if that info is wrong).
The set consists of 96 cards with each card measuring around 69mm in diameter
There are Eight suits with each suit consisting of 10 number cars, a King and a minister card.
Every suit has "Navagunjara" as the King card and "Arjuna"
as the minister card.

I should clarify lol
While I did come home with around 80 new decks... I build these trades up all year. And then meet with the other collectors at the convention and trade.
I rarely buy any common Bicycle decks that come out anymore, I buy multiples of the decks that I believe are going to be hard to find in a year. Limited releases, promo decks, etc.
then I make trades.
I only purchase approx 20 decks at the convention. the rest were pre set up trades.
Lol. The convention is great, and I highly recommend going.

Got this deck today. It was apparently made in 1979 by Sergio Ruffolo and is called Dal Negro "Lo Zodiaco" Fortune Telling Cards

Another set I got recently. Nothing special about the cards but I like the theme. This is the 2nd set I had to buy. The bottom photo is what the 1st looked like when the post office delivered it.

I know! The seller said it was not like that at all when he sent it, which I believe. There was a note on the box that said the post office repackaged it. The card deck box is surprisingly heavy duty. It seems like something must have ran over it.

The blue flag with the tree in the top left is the Charlestown, MA flag commemorating the Battle of Bunker Hill. I work one city away just in case you were wondering!

Always a pleasure, never a chore.
The real thanks should go to Timmargh though as he ordered two extras for me.

I got a nice package from Kings Wild yesterday.

I really do like that large deck and case, but I am not sure I will be getting more of them with other KWP sets. I guess I like brick boxes as I can actually open them up and enjoy the decks. This kind of gets sealed up as a display set and the decks don't even see the light of day, much less the cards. I'll see how it grows on me, and/or how I can control my compulsive collecting.

I had a pretty surprising and decent mail day as well yesterday. Fillide arrived. Besides the beautiful deck inside, I have to say, those Italian stamps surely don't need to be shy in comparison to Greek stamps

If you go back about a year ago on Stockholm17's Instagram posts, there is a post with several pictures and short videos of the boxes being manufactured. There were only 39 people that pledged for the box tiers during the campaign. According to that post, Lorenzo made only 50 of these mahogany boxes. Here is one photo from that post of the boxes near the final stages of production. Interesting, there are 60 boxes implied in the photo. The sets come with all three decks inside signed by Lorenzo. My Gemini Noctis is #0024, so I would assume the signed Noctic decks were all low numbers.

Did you buy them from schfifty5? I was so on the fence whether to pull the trigger or not. As usual, wish I had now
I really put some effort in this year on my S17 collection. Still lots to add though

Yes, I did. I was kind of surprised no one pulled the trigger on it as I know there are some serious Stockholm17 fans around. I do like the case a lot. It is really a nice unique piece of art to go with it. The acrylic case is also a really great display piece as well. I got that with the kickstarter, but failed to select the tier for the wooden case at the time.
Lorenzo's store still has a number of Room17 decks and the original two HotRS versions on his site.

I may have a few coming already
Do you mean the Pollux? The one with the card guard in the lid?
I try to be a serious S17 collector

, it's just my missing three decks are going to be expensive. So I try to leave my card budget alone just in case one appears.

Yes, the Pullux set with the case with the inset for the card guard. It is a great set as well.

First December parcels were dropped at my place.
Love those Camp Cards. Can't tell you why - repeating courts, plain matte tuck box with only few details, simple back design. All good reason to not buy'em. But who's reasonable all the time.
On the plus side, besides that I simply like'em, they come in a
special collector's box aka a cotton bag... Sorry J&T couldn't resist to beat that dead horse

.
Second parcel was from justplaycards. I needed to stock up on them Delirium Prism and since the Order series had a 1984 vibe I had to pick them up as well. Orbits never hurt, too.
