Sadly, the new thread title is spot on now. Bruno's head is probably exploding. How much longer until we put this campaign into the Hall of Shame?

Tzzzz.
Not.
Would it make you more perceptive if this was to occur ?
Mike's correction is entirely that, quite utterly correct ....

... Except for the question mark at the end of the word "halted." That would insinuate that we are unsure if the shipping is actually halted. But it most clearly and obviously is.

Yes, I wasn't able to sign the decks because once the decks arrived in Niagara they were immediately shipped. It was a small discrepancy that I was willing to take just to get the decks out to you guys immediately. Had the Niagara shipping company stopped the delivery or even taken decks off of the skids, they would have charged me an arm and a leg. There was no way I was going to let them do that to me considering the mess they've already put me in with the Sybil decks.
Something doesn't add up here. I also am an M2 pledge on Buskers and Erik again seems to be blaming the fulfilment company here? Except we now know it was a different fulfilment company for Buskers and he still won't sign the decks? Small discrepancy? What a load of sh!t. No Mana's collector box either for any pairs of my decks.

It's times like this I'm glad I am usually a single deck collector (I am in this case anyhow), but am still really irritated on principle and lack of communication. Not to mention what little there is goes against logic and at times seems to contradict past statements. I feel bad for those that put out a ton of money and trusted him to deliver. Having something delayed forever is bad enough, but getting the wrong items and wrong amount? Man, good luck getting that corrected when the guy can't even be bothered to get most of them out to begin with. Just when you think the words of wisdom regarding 'only back projects from proven and reliable creators' was enough...

There was already prior speculation on if the card bubble was bursting, has this new custom card industry already 'jumped the shark', are there too many options, has it all already been done before, etc. KickStarter was always a risk, but I think this really shows the level when an established creator bungles things this bad. I really wonder what all this together means for 2016 and the community, will this only further drive down the interest in future decks. Personally, I haven't left the room, but the door is open and I'm feeling much less excited these days...

So I still had contact with Erik up until December 23, 2015. I had asked about the cards and he had mentioned that neither of my orders had the correct shipping paid. He sent an invoice through paypal for $47 US. I had hoped that by paying this the same day that it meant that my cards would be sent out. After a month of no contact and no cards I started a dispute with paypal. Rather than send anything in response to my questions Erik refunded the extra that he charged for shipping. Currently I backed 120 for the first project and then another 80 for the signature set. I am very doubtful that any of us that still have not received the cards will ever get them.

I would love to see the community thin a little bit, lose some of the less serious collecters and give me a better shot at getting the limited tier on that next Kings Wild KS project, knowing that only the really slick projects will fund because so many people have lost faith in the process. There will be less collectors, but they will be better collectors.

I haven't been mad about this until now, I've tried being patient but checking today that Erik hasn't even logged in to KS for more than a month now. WHAT IS GOING ON.... GRRRRRRRRR!

I got not casting shade nor do I intend to sound like I am defending him, I am sure if every time you or I logged in to KS, you were catching hell, you would have little reason to do so unless you had something positive to report, right? This has become a sh¡t slinging contest for the most part. If he had anything to lighten the load from his perspective, surely he would be right up there to tell us.

Mike, I don't think the point is IF he had something to tell us... it's that he SHOULD have something to tell us. Good bad or indifferent- any communication is better than no communication. I also think the reason why this has been a $h!t singing contest is exactly because he hasn't communicated. There are absolutely no excuses. Furthermore, IMO his lack of communication and absence at this point certainly says a lot about his character.

1000% agree! He needs to be updating us whether he has good news or bad news. I (& I believe most) could handle bad news if he actually gave it.

Unfortunately he's taking the weasel way and hiding his head in the sand and saying la la la at the moment. Guess what? It's not causing the problem to go away.

I wish people would stop making it out like Erik is being vilified or crucified and some kind of victim here. I've gone over all the posts here at UC and on his KS comment page and the majority of the complaints have been about his refusal to communicate. His "catching hell" is entirely self-inflicted. Sure, there are some comments grumbling about the delay, but what else would you expect for a project delayed as long as Sybil?!? The personal attacks on his character (which of course are inappropriate) are relatively quite few. Hell, I think even Bruno has taken more personal attacks than Erik has (and that's entirely self-inflicted as well  ).

Look at Lotrek's Icon campaign. Also very delayed. But you don't see anywhere near the level of dissatisfaction with him as you do with Erik. The key difference is Lotrek's level of communication is excellent. He doesn't blame the printer or anyone else, nor does he whine about his setbacks, but instead takes full responsibility and makes sure to post regular updates, as well as replying to questions and posting comments here at UC as on KS.

Shucks, I don't mind taking a few hits for Erik.
It's not as if they amount to anything much is it .... ?
And self inflicted ?
Tzzzz, only in the sense that those featherweight assaults clearly derive from those who frankly self associate far, far too much.
Lotrek is a treasure, ain't he ? I'm certain we don't deserve him, just as I'm doubly certain he doesn't get reward enough for his overall input/work-rate-ethic.
Yer Welcome.

I got mine, but i've been waiting on Erik to get back to me regarding the over $40 in charges I paid because they sent it UPS instead of USPS despite being in USPS packaging and being told to use USPS. But it's been some time now and I haven't heard back from him, I guess i'll just accept that and be happy I got mine.

This topic is not about Victor, nor Bruno, and both of you are close to stepping over the line at this point. "Fair warning".

It's times like this I wish we had a thumbs down button for some of the insane side comments.... Please, stop.

Anyhow, it sounds like the people that did get then were large orders only. Is that right or was the selection somehow cherry picked for other reasons.

Where did that come from? Sinjin is one of the most sane and even-tempered people here.

Anyway, I broke down and ordered one from Gamblers so I could have one at least. Doubting I'll see my order from Erik. And I'm happy to wait for it if he would give us a status (good or bad). A little reassurance would go a long way.

Thanks, PT. The original post was removed. I have heard enough, it's time to get back on topic.

I have been going back and forth about putting mine into the prize pool for UC2015 Decks of the Year, so why don't I toss four sets into the prize pool? Kai, add them to the list, including the third Livida deck. I will cover shipping costs, even if they go overseas. Maybe two sets of six decks? Heck, if nobody wants them I'll be fine. They are in fact awesome decks, both the presentation sets of platinum and gold and the beautiful blue backed Livida.

Sorry about the censorship, but I - and several others - have had enough...

Further poking the bear will get ugly.

I know I'm being highly optimistic here but I'm moving house in a few weeks. I really need to let Eric know where to send my decks out, when he gets round to it. How can I update my shipping address?

I'd send Eric a few messages via Kickstarter and any other methods of contact he may have. Then go down to your local place of worship and light a candle and say a prayer. Do the same at any synagogues, mosques, temples, etc...

On your way home pick up a bottle of good rum, cigars and find a virgin goat to sacrifice and leave it all as an offering to the card delivery gods. This should all be followed by dancing around a Bon fire throughout the night in hopes that IF the cards ever get sent out they'll go to the right place. Which as it looks, may even be not this place you're moving to but wherever you move to after that.

Good luck

I have heard of Erik...

I have been tolerant, bent over backwards to keep this civil. At this point anything you say, especially starting with the above is pure hearsay. Enough! I am as ticked off as anyone else, because people got the feeling that I got preferential treatment. Maybe I did, but until WE hear from Erik, it's all supposition, as I have said twice already. If you have nothing constructive to add, last time I am going to say it, quit poking the bear - which is now me. Victor, you walked into this, not just you who is kicking a downed horse. - - Mike
