@ICantShuffle: Unfortunately not. This campaign will only have the player's edition which is actually two decks (different colors) and no Signature or Limited editions. It will be a short campaign ending on the 20th of June. It will be the inexpensive, "everyday" variation of the deck but the tuck case will be equally impressive although a bit different.

Are you going with EPCC again for this one?
If so, I'm probably out.

I haven't seen any pictures of what the cards look like yet, but the Arabesque concept and tuckbox had me intrigued from when I came across the thread. Sadly they had already sold out by the time I caught wind of it.

No, these will be printed by me on French 310gsm casino grade stock with my new varnish.

Lotrek beat me to my prediction that this was going to be his first regular issue deck to produce in house with his new varnish. We have had some hints this was the likely direction.
First, the De Novo deck by Rick Davidson is being printed by Lotrek, including the standard tucks. He will be using his new varnish on these decks.
Second, the price point on the De Novo decks is right in the $10-$14 price range. This is getting where he can print great quality cards at a competitive price-point (without foil of course). Although, I am hoping for metalic inks.
Third, Lotrek is printing the tucks and brick boxes for Lorenzo's House of the Risking Spades campaign. Lotrek is stepping into the more standard (if one can call it that) card printing arena.
I enjoyed the video you just posted Smocito. I would urge folks to look VERY closely at the details. The registration that Lotrek achieved is nothing short of amazing.

99% shipped from Gambler's worldwide. Greek post is very reliable and fast but rather expensive if you want tracking. Plus packaging and shipping of 1000+ decks is no fun if you're not a professional in the field, doing it from home.

@Bradius: Of course no foil but 2 shiny metallic inks (gold+silver) on top of the CMYK printing. I'm not aware of other 6 color decks but I don't claim this is the first. There may have been other decks with CMYK+ 2 metallics.
I have very bright metallic inks and I'm also working on sourcing something truly amazing although I don't believe I'll make it for this deck...

Eh, maybe I'll be able to source one of the original ones elsewhere in the aftermarket, but I am definitely in for a deck of the player's edition, maybe two!

Of course it's best to ship US orders from within the US but you may consider shipping European orders from Greece.
I have no idea of how many orders will be from Europe but it may a manageable number. You may have a more accurate idea from the Ambassadors campaign.
Even if shipping costs are higher, I think European backers will prefer to avoid customs. Customs may bring unnecessary expenses and time.
I think that, by sending "European decks" to the US ( for them to be shipped back to Europe), they will be paying unnecessary tax won't they?
You may think about it and do the math because, in the end, it will be your work shipping the orders

Yeah, you really need to look at mailing the European decks (and maybe Canadian - as they also are going to tariff tax playing cards from the US) from Greece. From the US there is going to be an import tariff if shipped from the US I think (although maybe an exemption if really made in Greece, but that is way outside my pay grade). Why in the heck did they focus in on playing cards for the tariff war??? It boggles the mind.

Bradius,
I don't think it was playing cards specifically, but paper goods in general. Playing cards just happens to fall into that category.

I'm not sure, but I think it may be possible to avoid having to pay these duties if the goods never clear customs in the US at all - if they transit by way of an FTZ, or "foreign trade zone" (also called a "free-trade zone" outside the US). These zones can be small enough to be contained, say, inside a warehouse or a factory, so if USPCC or Gambler's Warehouse had such a zone they could receive EU goods or raw materials into their FTZ, complete any necessary assembly or processing inside that zone, and then ship them back out to the EU without subjecting them to US customs and duties. That might keep the EU from considering them a US export and applying import tariffs to them; it might not.
It seems unlikely to me that USPCC has their own FTZ, though anything's possible. Gambler's might be a better bet.

I've just read that EU is going to tax playing cards, coming from the US, in 10% (+ VAT + customs presentation fees) as a reply to US new tax.

I think it actually was specifically playing cards, mainly since UPSCC is in Kentucky, and the EU/Canadian tariffs are targeting goods from Republican states, unless another Republican state(s) makes alot of exported paper goods?
Anyway, I don't want to drown out these awesome decks with politics, but from a shipping angle it might be smart to ship everything from Greece or somewhere in the EU other than US decks. I can't speak for other countries, but I pay more for a deck shipped from the US than I do from Australia, the EU, or anywhere else - and that's not counting these imposed tariffs coming next month.

As far as I know (about importing into the UK) Playing cards attract a lot of tax as they are classed as a gambling product.
Whereas importing books on the other hand (another paper product) is tax free.
Anyway, what's the word from Lotrek, have these all shipped now?

After another delay due to urgent need for my presence in the press, the packages were finally taken to the post today! In the weekend I'll give you the tracking numbers after I get them from the post office tomorrow.
I can't wait to get the first reports that the precious babies are in your hands!

I actually like these more than I like the limited ones, but I know I will still be looking for a limited version. Definitely in for two decks... just waiting to see the campaign launch.

Yeah, I jumped on the EB mixed half-brick since I noticed it wasn't full yet.
So, I will probably put them up here for UC members, just like I planned to do with the Ephemerid cards when I get them.

Three minutes after 23:00 and I got #25. Geez.
Fortunately, I managed to get a 1+1 EB. There were 4 or 5 left.

I had friends over and got in late. I am first! Of the regular brick tier. Lol. Dang, $20 more though. That’s what I get for having friends.
Hey, will we be able to do add-ons? Also, are the decks going to be limited like the Ambassador Players decks?

I'm posting the Add-on list in a while.
Yes, these will be limited. Probably about 1500 decks from each color but I'll know after the campaign's end. Definitely won't be printed again.
