Those are all cards from the deck. :)
Probably looks like that coz I took the picture at a low, side angle to catch the tuck details. It has a subtle graphite effect so a straight on picture kept coming out very dark.

And nope, still looking for a worthy box. Space is becoming a real problem now.

Eoghann wrote:Just for kicks, I decided to track down the artist behind Fulton's October. Fun fact: turns out it's the same artist that did the Kraken Rum deck: Steven Noble. Found he does a lot of work for Espolón Tequila. And sure enough, a promotional deck was made for it. :)

Repeating courts is his thing throughout the designs, same with the jokers.

One more for the bone pile! :ugdance:

Aww man, why did you have to go and do that?! Fulton's October is one of my favorites - now I'm going to have to track down this deck too!

Down the rabbit hole I go!

I think this is one of those I decided to hold off on because of warning signs to me. Glad to see it got produced, will eventually get some aftermarket I'm sure. Shame they didn't do a coin of that circular seal... it would make a beaut if done right.

I agree. That would be a pretty neat coin. Coins are becoming the only "Fluff item" that makes any sense to me besides uncut sheets. Dice and all that other mess... This is actually a pretty good deck. His courts are screaming for a border to make them bigger. Usually you got big fat courts. I would have made the courts bigger if without a border. Really like his box. I'm a sucker for a good seal... And of course it's Bicycle. So I don't have to look at the fine print on the bottom of the box.

While I did also pick up Rarebits, Run and a few others, the big news for me is I picked up another white whale, Vanity Fair No 41 from 1895. It's not a complete deck though, which means it's not as valuable and really the only way I could every justify having a copy, so it works for me. Being almost 120 years old it's the oldest non reproduction deck in my collection and shockingly is a bit clumpy.

EcNate:

Yes, nice find!

I also have an incomplete Vanity Fair, missing (IIRC) the Joker and one other card.

You should just send me yours. That way at least one of us might have a complete deck.

So, of course You had to go there... :D

Well my BlackFriday/CyberMonday order from E arrived today. (With a nice big green quarantine sticker on the box).
Definitely worth the $84 shipping costs. (Even more so with the ripoff kickstarter international shipping prices that everyone seem to use)

Some recent arrivals: Sawdust, Blackout Kingdom, 4 Points, and Wolsung. My copy of the 4 Point deck has some of the worst embossing I have ever seen on a tuck box, I don't know if the paper is different, it was poorly struck, or what.

Four points are hand embossed. Hand embossing isn't as precise as printer embossing because the tucks aren't all glued the same. The variation makes it a bit off. I think it's pretty cool Ben hand embossed the tucks, even if they are a bit off.

Excited to get mine, hope they arrive soon. Nice haul. :)

Ah, I didn't know that, that explains it. Guess it's 1 way to save money and make each deck hand-crafted.

Forgot all about the Aves deck. From now until beginning of February, so much stuff on KS should be coming out.

First time posting, though maybe someone would enjoy seeing what 6 Dan & Dave Mystery decks I got. I was happy to see the deck starter because they didn't mention that this was going to be in the mystery decks.

I ordered 5 Mystery Decks from D&D and had to peak before I wrapped them up and placed them under the tree. Not too bad for the price. I was hoping to get a Smoke & Mirrors but ohwell. These were the 5 decks:

The Ultimate Deck by Stranger & Stranger
Flesh & Bones <---I saw a Nymph in this deck topless? Is this deck safe as a gift to a 14yo boy?
Voltiage (Red of Blue I forget which color it was)
Fulton's October
