I'm not totally turned off by them, especially since I want J&T to continue to take such risks and create a fully customized deck. We'll see how I continue to feel.

Tuck, aces, and courts of the Totem edition. A special edition of this deck will be gilded and limited to 52 copies (hooray)

I dont dislike it nearly as much on the dark background, and there appears to be some metallic inks involved.
but let me guess those 52 gilded are only in some super package.

Joker & Thief wrote: This limited edition deck of 300 examples boasts brilliant hot foil stamping, and black ink on the backs and faces.
For those seeking the truly rare, 52 examples will feature gold gilded edges, and will be uniquely number [sic].

I have a similar feeling. I'm weighing the value of encouraging fully custom courts vs limiting myself to artwork I really love. The dark background is more attractive, so I will see what the reward tiers look like.

I like the art. I can even get past all the pink in the standard deck because it looks interesting mixed with the teal. The courts all have nearly the same poses but that too is small potatoes for me. I will likely acquire a deck or 2 post ks.

I quite like'em but to the same extent I like the rest of the deck, which didn't let me impressed.

$53 for the gilded, $26 for the base totem, this is definitely not going to be on our bargain shoppers list.
32 of the gilded (and there is one for both decks) in bundles that makes only 20 addons if their numbers are correct.
I have a marker on both gilded but REALLY doubt Im going to hold onto the base gilded at that price if someone wants it.

More ridiculous ks prices. If you want me to help you fund your project which in turn helps your career/livelihood, then I want a deal. There is no way I will back it since I feel like I would be getting ripped off.

I like the tuck and the backs, but I'm just meh on the courts .At that price I'm out.

Re: False Idols by Joker and the Thief (ill. Joaquín Nava / JOACO)
This release came with way too much pomp and circumstance for what it's ultimately turned out to be. By no means is this a bad deck, but the amount of marketing and hype that's gone into this one does not come close to matching its quality. Wholeheartedly agree with the above about pricing.

J&T decks are always priced high. And the past few times, for me anyway, they're just barely not worth it.

This is the first time I've seen a card campaign offer pledge tiers months after the due date for funding.
