I have to log in at the bottom of the page as well. I know I am logged in as an Inner Circle member because my Inner Circle discount code shows at the top. Remember to enter your discount code before you check out. It can be a bit tricky, but lots of good stuff for Inner Circle members.

I suspect it is a website issue and that you are doing things correctly.Adamthinks wrote: ↑Sat Mar 04, 2023 11:18 pmI have no idea why that worked, but it does. However it removes it from my cart as soon as I log in to check out.
edit: welp, I was able to check out, but only if I didn't log in. Not sure what's going on.

Same experience - the above works
I didn’t hit the final payment button - almost bought two but figure I have enough Lavender to trade for a few more if I want them - already have one

Weird I’ll look into these issues today.
Ic items and ic page are only visible to logged-in members, but they use different mechanics for visibility due to Woocommerce and Wordpress being different software.
There shouldn’t be any reason you can’t proceed with a checkout though. I’ll have a look at the emails and get back.
It could just be a cache issue when new things are added. It’s important we have these things though to prevent non-members from using links to exclusive items.

Re: Yule & Ostara - Wheel of the Year Playing Cards by Jocu & Evgenia Zhade
The only way I got it to show up and work was if I wasn't logged in. Even a direct link to the page for that deck gave a 404 not found result if I was logged in. If I was logged out I could see the page and add it to the cart and then adding my IC promo code gave the discount and allowed delayed shipping and allowed me to check out, as long as I continued being logged out. The moment I would log in it would get kicked out of my cart with a message saying it wasn't available. No big deal, just giving the details in case it makes it easier to figure out the bug.Jocu wrote: ↑Sun Mar 05, 2023 2:31 am Weird I’ll look into these issues today.

Basically instead of being visible only to IC members, it was invisible only to IC members and so you couldn't see it when logged in. Discount codes work even when not logged in, and so you were able to see it as a guest and use your discount.
Phew, glad it wasn't more complex than that as I'm no web designer
I'll refund the mistaken purchase now - you had another that failed possibile due to the multiple attempts. You can get in touch via email about that if you like.

This looks good but I hope the sides are covered by laser engraving or something else.

This is just the prototype so colour etc will change but the sides are laser-engraved with the WOTY logo in the image. Which sides did you mean?

I was referring to the gap around the decks. I should have been more specific.
In my opinion it would be ideal to have a design that doesn’t obscure the decks.

I think Fenrir is talking about the wooden frame surrounding the decks which holds them in place... if I'm right we are considering something for this to break it up.
As for the transparent lid, we'l show some photos later but the design is the same as that on the cards, and helps identify where to put them but it doesn't cover it as such as it's very light. I'll get some pics soon!

I'll try to keep an open mind but I'd really rather not have the decks themselves covered with any sort of markings - especially with the border that's built into the case
(And I'm confident I can manage to line up the decks without a template

KS update wrote:Just a quick update for Yule and Ostara. Cartamundi had some internal planning issues delaying the cutting of the cards, but we expect them to be ready for mid-August once they get back on track. The cards are otherwise printed and we're working now on finalising the print run for the tucks ahead of delivery.

Jocu just sent an update on this and some other projects that Cardamundi has suddenly suspended all playing card printing operations. Based on what he reported, it looks like playing card production is being moved to a factory in Spain that they acquired in their USPCC purchase. I don't know. Frankly, Cardamundi is my favorite playing card producer right now. Not in small part due to their cold foil for playing cards. I am glad that Jocu is sticking with Cardamundi. I just hope that they can still produce cold foil and playing card production at least as good as they have been doing in Belgium. Hopefully more details on this will come out shortly.

In the update he mentioned that he'd be getting more info from Cartamundi next week. He said he was expecting delays of about a month. However, in TGW's updates regarding the same issue, he said he was expecting delays of many months (~5). Considering the logistics involved of setting up an entire factory, I think the latter delay will be more likely.Bradius wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2023 12:16 pm Jocu just sent an update on this and some other projects that Cardamundi has suddenly suspended all playing card printing operations. Re: Yule & Ostara - Wheel of the Year Playing Cards by Jocu & Evgenia Zhade
So I was assured that all techniques developed by Cartamundi are being moved to Spain, and the Fournier technical knowledge will be used but not their processes - although new techniques may come later of course.
So cold foil and B9 slimline etc won’t change. These were headed up by the same team who are organising the move.
As for delays each case is different as every customer is different and different productions are in different stages. It’s probably best we don’t speculate… but new projects will fall much further down the pecking order than those in production or, in the case of the project in this thread, actually almost ready. The cards are printed and varnished just awaiting cutting, so our delay for this one will be shorter than most as we don’t necessarily have to wait for the move.

True!
Cutting is the real issue, not printing or cello-wrapping. Hopefully, they will be able to adjust their equipment to finish current projects. They did it for Escape Velocity, but I believe it was hard to maintain the same quality level. That might be why they are upgrading and moving to a new factory. I don't have any information from Cartamundi regarding their current status or the reasons behind this decision; these are just my thoughts.

Hopefully with the move happening, the quality of the productions are still the same or BETTER than last place
Unlike… USPCC that moves from Cincinnati (which was good and all) to Erlangwr (where things goes bad especially on centering cut)

One of the main pushes for the move has been a decline in the quality of the cutting/registration in the past few months so it’s the key concern that they’re addressing with the movelaitostarr777 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2023 10:58 pm Hopefully with the move happening, the quality of the productions are still the same or BETTER than last place

Re: Yule & Ostara - Wheel of the Year Playing Cards by Jocu & Evgenia Zhade
Well despite the shutdown as our customers know we have been able to receive all outstanding projects and begin photographing them. Here is the first - Yule, the sixth deck in the Wheel of the Year series
This was a really fun, but tough one. I really wanted to include Anglo Saxon deities and continue to be historically accurate in our descriptions and depictions of them but I underestimated just how hard it would be - the Romans eliminated almost all record of Anglo Saxon paganism and whilst we can garner a lot of information from Norse mythology it's not historically sound to just assume it's the same (especially as there are many differences in what we do know)
Regardless it has been a fun project and I look forward to completing the Wheel next year!
You can see all the cards on the product page for Yule over at www.jocu.cards

This is one of those deck series that I've flip-flopped on for so long. I really don't like the back, but the artwork elsewhere is incredible. I love the detail, the balck and white, the overall aesthetic. Just can't get past the backs
Still, your pictures make me reconsider, hsbc!
