How should one term this phenomena where the inspiration for casino decks like Cherry's, Gemini, etc , is now following the footsteps of what it inspired by doing multiple recolors?
Reinspiration? Bocinspired? Nocified? Bonoctained?

Close with gold metallic... but not correct.

But this was supposed to be a secret for backers of the KS campaign only. Thank god you didn't tell everyone they can get all the details off of Kickstarter here

Only 500? Those 500 decks are going to be snapped up so fast, and have great re-sale value on the secondary market.

"In honor of the 50th anniversary of Jerry's Nuggets, we will be releasing 50 color variants of the deck to really exhaust the brand, make everyone sick of it and make as much money as we can in the process!"
Fixed it for them.

Really, I can't blame them for striking while the iron is hot. I'm even considering picking up one of these myself and I am so not a J Nuggs fan. Never have been. Even so, to be honest I just really like the look of that tuck. It makes me think of the early 80's kind of glam and that makes me smile.

The store had some kind of wonky going on. Kept telling me it was in stock but not when I went to purchase. Over and over. Nonsense.

Went for the aqua gilded. Hype aside, I do like the design of the Jerry’s Nugget. And $25 for a gilded deck is on the low side.
One comment tho - this gilding is probably done in the PRC, as opposed to USA and France for most USPCC and Cartamundi decks. I wonder how it handles.

You will let us know how it handles and looks, won't you? Since most of us are having JN fatigue, even the original JN KS backers.

I own very few gilded decks, so this is a question out of ignorance and curiosity: Is it even worth talking about handling when it comes to gilded decks? Doesn't it affect the handling to such a degree that there's very little reason to use them like a normal deck (in terms of cardistry, I assume playing games with them is fine)? At least when you have gilded and ungilded versions of the same deck, why not just get and use the ungilded if handling is important?

Sorry wasn’t clear when I mentioned “handling”. Yes, I agree the non gilded deck would just handle better if that’s the objective. But when I buy gilded decks I do hope they can still fan pretty well. So that’s that.

TL:DR
I'm in the same boat of not being a big buyer of gilded decks because,
ugh.

Don't get me wrong, they're very pretty and that counts for a whole lot but yea,
ugh.

Even so I may quite possibly snag me a guilded copy of yon
orange nugget.

Possibly the
lime one too.

They seem to be popping up everywhere so no shortage of the things and they seem
fun.
I just noticed the comment at the top of this page, page 2, today. That was done, Expert's version of NOC's were NOC V3.

I have never bought a Jerry's Nugget deck but I broke down and bought the orange gilded deck. I think it looks very nice.

How and where do we actually buy some of these decks? I agree that some of the re-colors are kinda fun but I cannot find where to buy them. Feeling a little clueless.

Just because they are on Ebay, doesn't necessarily mean they are going for "Ebay" prices, at least not yet. The above three colors are available for $25 for the gilded decks and $13 for non-gilded. Search for TripOnMagic's store.

You can pick them up from any Murphy's Magic retailer.

Yup, I recommend checking out woundedcorner.com. They have these new JN decks, along with other decks at good prices.

Being a skeptic of this series, I purchased the Vintage Feel Jerry's Nuggets - Green Ed. solely for research purposes, either to be genuinely surprised or to prove my point. Not gonna talk about the handling and stock quality because we all know it's Expert's JN finish (near smooth) and feels plasticky. What intrigues more is, lo and behold, the print quality demonstrated below.
The smell of the cards is like sticking a sharpie right up your nose---that potent alcohol smell. I'm mentioning this because if you look at the photos provided below, the ink quality also looks just like being drawn by a sharpie, with a trail of semitransparent ink like what happens if you drag a flat marker across a white board.
First noticeable issue is the court cards. As it seems, Expert got the license for the USPCC standard courts, got the files, sent them to the Chinese plant and printed the deck. Problem is that the unevenness of the lines are extremely visible and the borders of the color blocks smear across areas that they're not supposed to go to. There are also areas near the borderline that lacks being filled up (check ALL the black color blocks on the QoH's clothes). It looks just as if Expert screenshotted the USPCC court files and its Chinese printer printed according to the screenshot quality:
The same issue happens with the Ace of Spades: there are smears and semitransparent areas that one wouldn't expect from a standard USPCC printing. It's not the problem of my camera, the card was printed that way; the clarity of the air cushions should provide an index for the photo quality.
Second but most shocking, is one side of the corner indices. This happens throughout the whole deck, with every card having one corner ok-ish and the other clearly blotched. This is where the sharpie analogy becomes very real: nearly every stroke of the indices runs over its intersecting stroke, and the bottom of the font and pip has an ink trail underneath. That is, the AoS and AoC have grown "feet" under themselves...

. The clubs are especially severe. In the second photo below, I've placed the normal side of the 9 of Spades as a comparison, but even on the "9" it's evident that the ink wasn't enough to print a solid character. In addition, look at the main pips on the card and you'll see that every pip has a fade-out feature at the edges; no border clarity whatsoever.
Verdict:
Expert has been claiming how on par its Chinese plants are and could live up to the company's previous print quality. However, whether the JN brand is so marketed as the lowest (in terms of quality) standard deck of EPCC or the Chinese plant is just simply bad, the result just doesn't do any good for or live up to Expert's claimed reputation. Expert is definitely milking the hell out of the JN brand and is concerned less and less about the quality, legacy, precision. All that's left is the big money, and the advertising of the "vintage" & "JN Finish" is just a way to cover the fact that the decks are produced poorly. No, this "Vintage Feel" does not feel anything like the OG Jerry's Nuggets as Expert claims it to be.
In addition to the JN series, I've also realized a quality dip in the Superior Brand series when I compared the decks printed by the former Taiwanese plant versus the current PRC Chinese plant. That review may come later, keep a look-out for that one.
Edit:
One more thing, these cards DON'T faro out of the box.

That's interesting... I haven't seen that kind of issues with the previous JN vintage feel decks I have purchased. Maybe that's a bad batch or the quality is going down overall?

Sure that's not EPCC's way of copying 100% the OG JN down to the poor printing quality?
After all, I doubt any of us have seen an OG JN card up close to be able to say otherwise.
