Thank you! I agree! The Black Tiki was always an experimental deck. I like it, but don't expect anything like this again. And also it's hard to compete with NEO as all three decks in this series are two-colors decks.

Were the non-KS orders shipped at the same time? I was one of those who were late to the party and took advantage of the pre-orders on Alex's website. I can't wait to open these up but I didn't get a tracking email from GW (which is not surprising).

Yes, at the same time! Only one order for @aardvarkgod is delayed. I am still trying to get tracking details from GW :D I sent my 2nd parcel to NZ in this fulfillment and also have not received an email.

No. There have been others. I know Neo Wave Ultra, but I am sure there are others as well.

It's an interesting question. There are some other decks by Cartamundi with foil. But most of the time we talk about borders or some elements on faces printed by silver/holo or gold foil. For sure, NEO:WAVE was the first available for public with foil on the artwork itself (colors, gradients, etc.).

Also, I have never seen full-bleed foil as a background. JR is now printing his all-silver foil Invocation deck. But I am not aware of other decks like those two. Even now, you should be too crazy to print such decks.

Nobody wants to risk. I cannot find a single example (excl. NEO) of a deck with colors other than gold and silver on top of the foil. That's why it's hard to design as final results are unpredictable as you don't have references. Some colors printed on top of silver foil (NEO) are good, some are ok. You will never know until you print it. Lack of references forced me to design Black Tiki Jokers as potential future back designs. They are cool, but also they are good as a reference for me.

Look at two red cards. They are the same but different. In one, I used foil instead of white, in another one - white instead of foil for lines.

One more comment - 3D scenes with real-world lighting helped a lot!!! I added white elements and red foil to the design for better contrast after reviewing renderings. Without red foil and pure white, this deck would be a disaster.

Got my trio of Hello Tiki decks today! I had to laugh because I got a tracking email from GW about an hour before the decks were delivered.
These decks are INSANE. I love the differences between the White and Red decks and glad I got them both. The Black version is absolutely stunning. Incredible foil work to say the least. I have to wear my sunglasses just to handle the cards!
Also a big shoutout to Pablo393 for hooking me up with some dinged-up Neo Wave Ultra decks at a great price. I am so proud to have all of these foil masterpieces from Alex and I can't wait until UC No. 7 drops!

Thank you for the photos! And yes, please wear sunglasses when you play with Black Tiki :D

I have not got my own tracking details from GW. I use 3rd party consolidator for parcels (youshop nz) as rates are better than GW. So, they informed me about the delivery. The parcel is on the way to NZ already. As soon as I receive it, I'll send decks to NZ backers.

p.s. It's interesting - grey inks are also metallic, but it's hard to see. Silver metallic inks are much better. Love red/orange color!

Sorry, not your fault. Your order is not standard, and all such orders should be shipped later after the main fulfillment. I'll email you today or tomorrow.

A blast from the future! Three Tiki decks, starting bid $60. Read this subject!

Full Set 3 Decks W2 White, Red & Black Hello Tiki Playing Cards~Limited to 320

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Full-Set-3-Dec ... SwX7BdUh78

Why 320? Does he know something? :D I produced <400 of each box as my resources were limited at the end of the project. My main concern now - boxes are not too practical due to heavy foil usage. Should I stop and make this edition of the boxes Kickstarter only and print something simple for the rest of the decks? Any ideas? BTW, even if I do it, decks will never be cheaper than on KS! I can still produce the same boxes for all remaining decks as we have all dies at GW. Should I?

If you could make the extra tucks slightly different, that would be nice to distinguish them from the regular issue. The tucks were so nice, it would be a shame though not to put them in something like them or exactly like them rather than in a plain tuck. Personally, I don't care. Make them nice and make a nice bit extra. Any way you slice it, there are not many decks out there. I love putting on my sunglasses and enjoying the cards. 8-)

1. I like to use cards, but this box is too fancy, and it's hard, expensive and risky to produce anything like this again with such thick areas of foil.
2. If I improve the same boxes with foil, all other buyers will probably receive something more durable, and I don't want it.
3. In my local playing cards shop with ~150 different decks, Hello Tiki V1 is the best selling deck. Wwwhat?? How? I have no idea. They are more popular than all standard Bicycles all together. I know for sure that people buy them to use (I asked). What? It's a real puzzle. This deck is not even near to V2. So the box should be bulletproof. I use my first two decks boxes to store other decks when I travel. They are almost indestructible due to matte lamination.
4. It's always cool to have something KS exclusive, and it's the first time when I can do it.
5. I can test different ideas and art by printing new boxes.
6. I consider moving all decks to NZ, so there is no reason to make all remaining decks fancy and collectible.
7. I can still print the same boxes.

I've got charged a custom tax of 11 GBP today for the 1 red + 1 black ultra + 1 white Ultra tier.
Just wondering if this is normal for fulfillment from Gambler's Warehouse?

I also received 10+ different sendings from GW with 2 to 8 decks or so. Never got a custom tax once. But I must admit, that were no decks from Montenzi till now. I needed to safe a bit and hope that they are still available when I got something to get also one of each Tiki.

Thank you! Your scans are incredible!!! BTW, it's WHITE edition. :D

Finally, I have time to finish this project  There are about 50 decks left in Kickstarter boxes with foil and embossing (Red/White/Black). All Black decks are sold in premium boxes.

All the remaining Red and White decks will be sold in boxes without foil and embossing, but with a matte finish and internal printing (starting in January).
I realized that foil and embossing mean NOTHING for me. New boxes are better for my taste.

It's an important news! All the remaining Hello Tiki V2 STANDARD EDITION decks are exclusively available on Murphy's Magic or on Trademe for NZ/AU buyers.

Special note for retailers: I'll update photos and text today as MM uploaded Premium Edition images. Standard Edition boxes are made without foil and embossing, but with the same cards inside. Matte finish on boxes is so cool! Love it! You can see some photos in my last posts.

I don't sell this edition on my site and will never do it, but I'll have standard decks in stock in New Zealand. If you are from NZ/AU, find them in a week or two on Trademe:
https://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listi ... er=6110587

Premium Edition (KS) decks are still available in my shop: http://montenzi.nz/shop I have 20 Black decks and maybe 4 bricks of Red/White.

ooops  V1 decks are only available in New Zealand. I don't have them in stock in USA.

New images and text uploaded to MM and should be updated soon.

Here is the link to correct images: http://montenzi.nz/ht/htv2.zip

p.s. Seriously, I like new boxes so much! I found out that foil and embossing are not for me  I like something more brutal and usable.
