To be clear, not blaming him for not changing, just commenting that is sums up him perfectly. All the intention to deliver in 2022 but due to issues and perfectionism it takes 2 more years. Again, it's just him and you know what you get with him (at least if you've been on UC for any period of time). I was ok with it for a number of years and now I'm not. Why I'm no longer a Patreon member of his and probably won't back future KS. I'll limit myself to purchases in-stock if any.
My sentiments exactly.

Is it the xx/180 variant?

Gift deck just arrived. It is numbered VIV instead of IX. I like it
190 print run, one for each (waiting) Patron without option to buy another deck. Inside the Redemption stories tuckbox is another tuckbox with the deck called "Silk Rule".

So he wasn't kidding when he said VIV. I don't know how I feel about that

Maybe the 10th redemption deck will be VV.

More pics please!!!
The foil goes crazy with artificial light. Just some snapshots. Dunno if it is nostalgia but I'm still more impressed with the OG Silk. Handling and stock are much improved on the Patreon decks but overall... me dunno.
Some number cards have minor flaws on the foil application...

Someone posted this on Facebook. Why are there 2 series, one in black ink that goes to 190 and another in white ink that goes to 60? Maybe this was explained already and I just forgot.

I sent Lotrek a message to see if he could clarify. There have been previous Redemptions with different color numbering, probably if the pen ran out of ink, but I did ask to see if the numbering was simply a mistake.

Confirming there are two versions. Lotrek said he'll be posting about it shortly, so stay tuned.

Ouch, I really don’t like the sound of this. I hope it’s just a tuck swap.

Hopefully it’s nothing major otherwise I dont feel good about it, every Patron should get same stuff imo (unless already mentioned about something different)

Seems he did something a little different for the higher tiers as this is a gift deck and a way for him to say thank you. He had made a post for higher tiers a while back and wanted to prioritize something special that wouldn't upset his patrons. Let's see what his post will say today.

Lotrek just confirmed the version for the highest two tiers has silver on gold foil backs, while the lower two tier get a gold on gold foil. Only thing, the second time he wrote 1/160, probably a mistyping.

Sucks about year 2. At this point Lotrek has to fulfill 8 decks and a kickstarter in nine months. Seems like an astronomically difficult task given the track record.

Assume this is only for those who paid for the 5th year and not those of us who paid for the first 4 years and are waiting.

Well if it’s only 190+60, it might be the case

What about year two? I was a patron for year two but no longer have access to his updates.

From the last update:
“In the next update we will also show you some images of the deck which will be the basic deck of the second Year awards. Initially, it was printed on the same stock that caused the problems in White Patrons and as I noticed several similar blemishes on the uncut sheets, I immediately decided to scrap them all before they were even cut. Therefore, I am doing what I know to do best: Reprint! In case you wonder, there is nothing left of this deck, except of 5-6 cards that I found forgotten in my car!”

Umm is the 9th Redemption gift deck suppose to be sent with the white Charmers? I like silver on gold better than gold on gold.

I believe gold on gold are like the extra cards that came with Year 1 rewards. Definitely better contrast than a gold on gold deck like the Oath standard one. I am curious what the silver on gold looks like. I anticipate that's the one I'll be receiving.

There are comments on Patreon suggesting a Non numbered version of each edition and giving an opportunity for people to buy the opposite edition they got . I’m am planning to mail Lotrek with this suggestion too , I dont want to go through the whole secondary market hunt even after being a Patreon supporter. Maybe you guys can also mail /DM him this suggestion and if enough people suggest this , maybe we can have both variants? (I really used a lot of maybe s there lol)

I still haven't gotten mine yet so I can't say for sure which version I'll be receiving, but I think that defeats the purpose of the gesture itself. Maybe I'm biased because I'm probably getting the x/60 version and would be upset/envious if the role was reversed.
If he's going to accommodate the request, it makes more sense for him to skip the Redemption tuck entirely and have additional ones be non-redemption, marked in some way as extra. I don't like the idea of a bunch of unnumbered Redemptions out there.
