There are two versions of this deck, bordered print of 500 and then a borderless edition later down the road (no idea of print size)
Picked up both - or at least I hope I did - I found em, paid for em, and now will cross fingers they actually exist at the other end of the internet.

I am a big fan of Dominic Murphy's work. I have two of each of his Alice decks. He has a Secret Tarot, Lost Tarot, and a Putin Tarot. I really like the artwork but not for the faint of heart.

Those Putin ones are...uh... interesting...

Collecting can be an art, or a science:
CS: Common sense
D: Desire
F: Finances
FF: Foil fronts
FB: Foil backs
OWC: One way courts
RC: Repeating courts
ET: Embossed tuck
H: Handmade
Formula:
(((CS / D) * (FF * FB) - OWC - RC * 10 + ET * 5) * 4 - (F*.001)) + (H * 1000)
Shouldn't the first part of that be D / CS instead of CS / D?

Let me check…
D = 100
CS = 0.1
100 / 0.1 = 1000
Yes, you are correct - its D/CS - thanks

I am not sure those work that way. I mean I think there is a strong inverse correlation there. I mean when Desire rises, common sense is pushed into obscurity.

That is true - this formula is applied after those effects.
The desire to common sense formula is: CS = (1/D)*10

Right, so if Desire is 1000, then (1/1000)*10. Or Common Sense is 1%. That sounds correct. Of course Idiocy is: I = 1 - CS or when desire is 1000, idiocy is 99%.

I think idiocy can only be determined when adding a time variable for the purchase to age and the deck to prove a pariah that can neither be traded or sold - that time variable effected by the hype factor
h = hype
p = percent over market price
t = time passed since purchase
i = idiocy
i = h*(1+p)*t

I think you have valid points, but the inverse of Common Sense also plays a role in "i". That said, there is a link between a lack of common sense also impacted by the above factors....this is getting too hard for my simple brain...hmmm...does just being plain stupid play a role here?

The analysis of the calculations does hint at that, but until the team over at MIT gets done reviewing my work its hard to say…

A great find, at a Black Friday price - picked this up for just 60 beans (complete set, with instructions), it was 50% off at Ruby Lane (tag sale) - seems more luck than stumbling on a trove though as the rest of the playing cards in the sale don’t seem exciting to me, but you may have other sensibilities than I, so do check it out
From 1926, they came as singles in Black Cat cigarette packs, Lenormand cards…

Peter Wood’s Jest Jokers deck
I think these are screen printed one color at a time but I seek the more expert in printing amongst us to voice up on just what we are looking at here. Threw it under the digital microscope and took some close ups to show the details of the print technique…

Scored another Lewis deck, Alice in Wonderland - haven’t seen much of it yet, here is the most the internet had to offer on a quick search - cards should take a week or two to arrive

If you are an Elaine Lewis fan, she has a new deck on the way - best (only?) way I am aware to get them is to join EPCS:
https://www.epcs.org/ and ask to be put on the list for them.
Thanks for the heads-up. Is that information somewhere on their website (Can't find it myself). Did you find this information elsewhere?
Peter Wood: Reminds me of laser printed images. You can ask him. See PM.

Haha so weird to see these here
These are on display at just about any postal or large governmental office in my neck of the woods. The mint always has new commemorative mementos like these on offer. Cool stuff!

Do they have the New France set from 2018?

I'd have to check, although the website claims it's out of stock in stores

I'll make sure to let you know if I see it next time I hit the post office.
I'll admit, the coins are not something I'd have as part of my collection. The complimentary Royal Canadian Mint deck that comes with it is just a souvenir deck with a custom back emblazoned with their logo. Not my cup of tea.

This is a picture taken when Gandalf put too much of his foot into coins rather than playing cards. Look as he contemplates his choices and then dives deeper into playing cards. Some may call it his rock bottom, but the ground was covered in coins, so he certainly hit coin bottom. His pockets were full of coins, so he also had coin bottoms. I should coin that phrase.
This was a tough time for him; though his environment was surrounded by riches, he was feeling unsatisfied.
He is GandalfPC after all. Not GandalfC.

My journey into coins took me very deep. I put a lot of time and money into the US Seated Liberty series, especially the quarters. There are a ton of very limited and rare issues. It makes many other US coins look just common (unless you get into some of the gold coins). I really loved my seated liberty dollar coins as well. Coins were such fun to collect with lots of interesting history.
