I have three words for you: sunk cost fallacy.
I admit I follow this thread partly for the schadenfreude, but also out of curiosity for what is actually being released. I'm glad I found out about Redemption VI. If the foiled Golden Rule for patrons ever materializes, I'll know when to start checking eBay for it.

I've been burned by Native Tongue (Patreon
May I ask what happened with Native Tongue’s Patreon ? Last time I knew the Patreon was running smoothly, I was a member for short period of time and received my rewards timely .
Brad hasn’t posted on there since about August 2023.
Also he has two Kickstarters that haven’t had any updates.
One (Nightdreams and Daymares) did have an update months ago but the more recent one (C.A.R.D.S. Of which I am a backer for…) has had nothing.
Is the Patreon still running?
I just checked. it appears one can still sign up

only a fool or someone who has no idea what he's been up to would sign up for his patreon.

My Blue Prisms and Mystery Crafts still haven't shipped, but I guess Lotrek is too busy dealing lost cards to everyone.
He may have sent the package but not sent you a tracking email, which is what happened to mine, and it's not the first time this has happened. This time, I sent him two emails but got no reply. Then I suddenly received the package yesterday.
He answered (with apologies) that my package was forgotten and will be sent after he returns home at the end of this month. It was exactly the same situation last time I ordered something. Maybe I'm on some sort of s*it list

I've never seen that holographic Maestro before. Looks cool, but also unnecessary release to be thinking about right now.

I was out part of last week and returned with several nice things. Included were six of the Redemption VIII decks and three of the Oath Prism deck. I was okay with the Oath Prism decks, but they didn't excite me too much. The same can not be said for Redemption VIII. Wow. Yeah, that is what I like in a Lotrek deck. Okay, maybe some can say legit that it reminds them too much of Arabesque or is too much bling, but it was amazing to me. I am so glad I picked up several decks and felt no guilt in opening one up. I am having a hard time imagining a better version to be honest. It is well worth what I paid for it. Okay Lotrek, get stuff finished and get a move on. In my opinion though, you delivered on this deck.

This holo Maestro isn’t a recent tease, it’s from quite a while ago!

Received the Redemption Decks today, didn’t order Holo Oath so cant say about it but the Mystery Craft is great according to me . The foiling is lovely, the stock colour though not bright pink but a colour I really like , only the courts feel a bit dim compared to the background otherwise its a great deck . One thing I have to mention, although Lotrek has delayed sending the Patreon rewards the deck handling has improved a lot . I have some older Oath decks and their handling even ToTT Dynastinae’s handling cant compare to the current Oath deck handling. I can fan the deck easily, it doesn’t feel sticky or have that friction, smooth fans and spreads and pretty thin compared to his Old Decks . Love this improvement.

This Mystery deck was my first super blingy Lotrek deck. The foil work on the spot cards and the Aces is really wonderful. Love those. But man, the courts really hold this deck back. I wish he had done something original for the courts, and perhaps some foil work for them too. And obviously them being so dark is a big issue as well. Honestly very surprised he was satisfied with that after a first test print. I have the supposedly better version pre ordered, but I'm considering cancelling.

I received my MYSTERY III Craft
And… since this is Lotrek’s deck, I must proceed with extra precaution: Using Gloves
Wow, just look at that shine. Every card feels like it’s a piece of art. This is probably the most detailed hot foil printing he made ever since The Tale of the Tempest Wylenti Edition.
Admiring every single card in the deck, and then…
This is fine
It’s one of the setbacks of hot foil printing, I guess. Nothing can be done. Perhaps things like this would make it better to never open it in the first place. But, a curious cat like me finds it hard to keep beauties forever sealed.
