This kind of mistake is a one-off. It happens from time to time -- but not terribly frequently -- because the decks are hand-assembled. It's not the result of a printing error.

Kevork was surprised it's still happening which means it's been an issue and seems like it's more common than I thought.

I don’t know if it was especially common, but it certainly made the headlines when it happened, and it happened more than once.

I remember him replacing the missing card when possible - long after the deck was sold out

I checked my deck, I have four queens so its not a printing sheet issue.

Mine are supposed to be delivered today and I will check one.

I have decided to end my support via Patreon. I messaged Lotrek and he confirmed that as of the August payment I'm good for this current year's rewards so it's not necessary to continue for September.

I wish he would find a way to keep up with his projects and communication but it just seems that it's not possible. Four years at 38€ a month, it's just become too much.

I plugged in the tracking that starts with LY into USPS tracking search and it's out for delivery today.

To pay as much money we have, to have delays and then mistakes to come along with it (missing/multiple cards, print/foiling not up to par as people are saying), feels a tad bit annoying. I know I will be pleased with the decks but hopefully don't have any issues.

Is it possible for a creators on Patreon to take a break or they consistently have to charge people something monthly? Year five ain't looking too good to be pledging more money and the previous four years rewards aren't out! Maybe we will feel differently by the end of September if year one and year two rewards are delivered.

i read someone said Oct was the start of a year so i was gonna cancel after Sept payment. did u ever double paid? (if i remember year 1 some patreons double charged)

I don't know if I double paid or no, but I do know that I did start in September, I signed up on the first day it was available.

Year 1 was 09/2020-08/2021 so if you cancel after Sept payment, you're giving him a month free because you prob won't get any new decks for that year if you cancel a month in.

Also fwiw I think the mystery crafts deck is beautiful. The stock he used is one I haven't personally seen (although he might have used it before) and the foiling is gorgeous. Besides my missing queen I'm very happy with it, especially since we are getting a 2nd version of it for free.

Mine arrived yesterday. I like the Blue Prism Oath deck. To my eye, the diffraction foil doesn't give a strong chromatic effect, but does appear to almost 'glow' a little off the black stock when the light hits it. Also, really like the Mystery craft - the details on the foiling are pretty amazing.

I have noted previously that I have been a bit frustrated with the delays (particularly 1 & 2 ), but I am looking at the 8 Redemption decks thus far, a Patron Test and there are still 2 gift decks to come and again have to acknowledge that really is trying to alleviate the frustration with the delays. I've been burned by Native Tongue (Patreon and Kickstarter) and NPCCD (Blind Tiger) -> Recognize in both cases, health my be a factor, but at least Lotrek is communicating and trying to do right by everyone in his way. For that, I am appreciative.

It happens a lot. I have a friend who has a problem with his Silk deck and Lotrek has not shipped a replacement even after a ton of follow up. I believe it has been almost a full year since he said he would send one.

I opened one of my redemption VIII decks and all my cards are there.

If you're considering cancelling you need to check the date when you signed up / 1st payment was taken.

Lotrek opened the tiers on September 1st 2020 and allowed 1 month for Patreons to join.

If you signed up 1st or 2nd September you didn't get charged until 1st October. (As was the case with me).

Lotrek being Lotrek messed around with something on his end which then resulted in all those joining up after this being charged straight away (This happened sometime between the 3rd-10th September as far as I can tell).

My OG Standards GoB had a serious printing issue on the back of the 4 of diamonds. I let Lotrek know, and he immediately sent back... a 4 of clubs. I messaged him again, but he never got back to me lol

Mystery Crafts deck is a lil' dark, pips are the same color even though there are green and red borders, can still make it a lil' hard for gameplay. Besides those things, the deck looks wonderful, the stock is great and fans well.

Blue Oath Prism is also nice. The backs doesn't pop too much but the blue still looks good.

Both decks had all cards. Once again, if the rewards will be shipped within a month for now, it'll make things a lil' better.

Small thing, but notice that on Remeption VIII tuck it says 2023. My OCD has issues with that.

Those new to Lotrek will really be amazed by the detailed foiling work he's managed to squeeze into a card. It really does show what all the Lotrek fuss is about when it comes to hot foiling and why so many people are STILL so patient with Lotrek despite the insane delays.

Yes, the courts really are dark and he didn't foil the figures themselves as he did in past mystery decks. Let's see if he manages to fix them in the V2.0. I'll reserve my final critique when I ACTUALLY get the final Mystery deck.

But the smell of the varnish. It makes NPCC and EPCC smell decent by comparison! Is it just these 2 decks or has it always been that way for the past decks as well? I don't have any older decks on hand to do a smell test.

Got my decks as well and totally agree with you! Courts on Mystery Crafts look tinted and don't look good at all. Hope he addresses that issue with the official version. The back design on the Blue Prism tuck case has much more of the holo effect than the back design on the cards. Would have preferred if he foiled other cards as well not only Ace of Spade.

I know at least one other collector who is in the same boat.

I showed my dad the deck and his critiques were: The courts are too dark compared to the foils and the foil is a bit too noisy. Thankfully, Lotrek is remedying both of those concerns and when I showed him the upcoming version, he was happy with the changes. He's a good barometer for me since he's a fresh set of eyes for my decks.

I'm not sure why I was under the impression we'd get them in this shipment. I guess I figured it would be convenient to send them altogether than separate shipments.

He did have a reply to my question about them on Patreon that I forgot about.

"All undelivered decks will be sent to those who ordered them. Not the very same decks but equal number. However, I'm in the dark regarding what happened with the undelivered orders. DP said that the sack (containing about 20 packages) would be returned to me. I never got it back and I only got 2 packages that were unclaimed. Moreover, I got emails from only a few people saying that they didn't get their packages, not 20. My efforts to find out what happened had no result. My guess is that DP eventually delivered the contents of that sack to the recipients and only a few people (for various reasons) didn't get their decks. When I get back I'll take care of that, too. I wanted to do it with the rest of the packages but it was impossible."

Yeah, I joined a bit after he launched the Patreon. He was very active when I first joined and then when dark. I never received my rewards and he never responded to any of my DMs.

He may have sent the package but not sent you a tracking email, which is what happened to mine, and it's not the first time this has happened. This time, I sent him two emails but got no reply. Then I suddenly received the package yesterday.

When you read all these posts, it seems incredible that Lotrek still has any patreons
