Happy New Year! Now I'll share the other deck from my latest delivery.
I was exposed to a lot of hype about Hamilton, and sometimes that causes me to run in the other direction. But when I finally had the chance to sit down and listen to the cast album, I was sold before the overture was done. I'm not a fan of this genre of music, but I'm a fan of musicals, and I could hear the history not only of my country but of theater in Lin-Manuel Miranda's writing. Peter Voth was a good choice to bring this deck to life.

I'll pair Hamilton with another patriotic Theory 11 deck. I believe it's the first one I purchased, early in my collecting days before they really went wild with licensed products. It was the turkey on the Joker that sold me. I've already revealed my affinity for chickens, but seeing wild turkeys roaming around is something special. They are simultaneously majestic and silly. I think Ben Franklin was right to advocate for the turkey over the eagle as our national symbol.

Thanks Felicity, I have long been tempted to buy the Union deck as Jay Fletcher did The Art of Magic deck (for the USPostalService) which I have always wanted but have never been able to get

I received my rewards from
The Pied Piper and they turned out very nice. This is the Hameln cold foil edition, and as usual the scan doesn't represent the foil well.
I also have the Heirloom cold foil edition, but I haven't opened it yet.

This is the one deck (Hameln cold foil edition) I got from the campaign and it arrived yesterday as well. I was expecting the blue to be slightly different, but this hits all the marks of a well thought out and properly executed deck.

Sometimes I indulge in a deck I know is cheaply made just because it has custom courts. This came in a set of two decks called "Pirate Gold Poker". The cardstock is no better than what I use in my printer when I want something a little stiffer than paper.

Here's a Kickstarter reward that arrived last week.

Feels like ages since I've posted, but I guess it's been less than a month. This Winter sucks.
I've included some pips because they're unusual in index, shape, and arrangement.

Launching into my Tarot collection is going to take a bit more time. Here instead is my latest arrival, the 2026 annual Patreon series from TWI. Tesoro consists of six decks: Gold, Silver, Bronze, Emerald, Ruby, and Sapphire. The metallic decks share one version of the court cards, representing a civilization in its prime, and the gemstone decks share a second version, representing the aftermath of a cataclysmic event.
Here are the court cards and jokers from the Gold deck, which is my favorite. My photos don't do justice to the shiny and precise foil.

Here is the Emerald deck. I think this color scheme works best out of the three gemstones.

I much prefer the gold courts. I think the only green deck I love is Alex Haines's Imported although I am looking forward to my first tarot deck arriving from Ian Cumpstey and it is very green
ps Forgot MyNOC Snake - the backs are a beautiful green

Green is one of the three options for these courts. I can't seem to post photos at the moment, but here are links to the
Red and
Blue decks for comparison. (Not that I'm trying to sell anyone on these; they are Patreon exclusives and not available for general purchase.)

Now that we have a shiny new server, I can share some recent arrivals!
This
print shows the image of all the cards laid out. Patreon supporters got a limited deck with a fancy tuck; a
display deck is available to purchase with a "standard" tuck that is also lovely.

Hot on the heels of the Patreon deck came the
Odd Fellows from the Sanctuary Kickstarter reward.
The "rap sheet" in the second image is the reverse of the Wanted poster in the first. This is also a deck where the cards form a larger image, in this case a map used in the heist. Triton's Iris, shown on the 4 of diamonds, is the treasure from The Eye of the Ocean.

Here are a few more photos.
First is the flask and wooden box from the above deck. I opted to receive the flat-packed signature tuck.
Second, all my Odd Fellows together with select other Stockholm17 decks (not my full collection).

I love the Echoes in the Palace - I could buy it for the 7oS alone!
Am I right in thinking the colors are fairly muted.

I'm not sure muted is the word I'd use. The color scheme feels consistent with Lorenzo's Eye of the Ocean decks (which I also scanned today and will share next).
