Yes, because of that it launches at 2PM EDT today, not 3PM which I previously posted.
I just took a peek at things and it looks like this
IS going to be EPIC!!

False alarm.
I'm sure Lorenzo will give news shortly
From what Lorenzo said in Facebook, apparently Kickstarter has to approve the project and they won't answer today.
EPIC FAIL. Apparently kickstarter does not allow ANYMORE to launch a project right away. I have to wait for their approval.
Luckily for me its 7pm in Portugal

The facebook post has a screenshot from a KS message that says 'We're reviewing your project... Response Expected: March 29, 2018'. What? Lol 4 days to let a creator start their project? Is KS trying their hardest to lose money?

From his FB post looks like the expected response date from Facebook is 29th March...

Jeez - that sucks! It always let people who had never had an unfunded / unsuccessful campaign (and at least one funded) launch when they wanted.

Surely there's still a way to pre-populate a KS project with all the details, have it reviewed, and launch at the time of your choosing?
There certainly used to be that facility; either KS has removed it, or it's an oversight by Lorenzo...
EDIT: Just saw Mike's post; a rule allowing known-good project creators the ability to launch without a review makes sense, but I suppose it also makes sense that KS has tightened rules over time. I imagine they've seen all sorts of abuses.

The wording on the creator pages hasn't changed, either. It shows that you can launch - i.e. the big green button is there as always for successful creators, but instead of allowing it to launch immediately like it always has, it now requires project review for all, or at least so it seems.
If they have nobody on duty doing reviews, it could possibly be a day or two.

In some cases it's just 10-15 minutes, no more. That's why you can submit a project for approval in advance even if it's not ready for a launch.

True, but it (only a month ago - like for "DeNovo" / UC2018) was available for immediate launch as long as you had funded successfully in the past and only required for noobs or if you had an unfunded / fail project. I don't know exactly what the specifics were as far as when you could regain the "launch at will" - i.e. green button.

I completely understand why Kickstarter started doing this, and I think it’s a really good thing overall. But clearly it could have been better communicated with project creators so they could account for the approval process before launch, and set backer expectations accordingly. I think this will make Kickstarter a stronger platform overall. But I am going to be super pissed if I miss a limited tier because of this. And I agree with some previous comments that established creators should be grandfathered past this process.

I can't argue that, except that Lorenzo had penty of time since he announced the time Thursday - if he had only known that it was required now. Stupid - but then again KS has never been known for being customer friendly unless you have previously greased their 5% of $1,000,000 or similar.

guys,
sorry if I didnt post here, but I was raging out and I lost focus.
I looked for the green launch now button everywhere. Usually it was in a page that appears after you push Review project.
Not this time.
Also, I did not see any ks mail about changes related to this project, or new terms of service. I might have missed it. I don't know.
Once I get approval I will reschedule the launch.
Sorry for this mess, it was totally unexpected
I just found this text:
"Does Kickstarter review projects before launch?
Yes we do. Our Launch Now feature uses an algorithm incorporating thousands of data points to check whether a project is ready to launch — things like the project’s description, rewards, funding goal, and whether the creator has previously launched a project.
If the project qualifies for Launch Now, the creator can go live whenever they’re ready.
If a project doesn’t qualify for Launch Now, the creator will need to share the project with us for review before it can launch. We will make sure the project is in line with our rules, and verify that it’s a project with a specific, finite goal — we do not investigate a creator’s ability to complete their project. We may also offer the creator helpful feedback on ways to structure or present their project. This process usually takes up to three business days."
So, for some reason i was not qualified.
