I agree, it would pose more problems than solve them. Even with the voting im still in disagreement over the fact that more people could possibly join in in the last couple of days. I forgot to link the last two statements buts that was the condition to consider ending early. Only if the project contains a specified quantity and that quantity is completely pledged for then take a vote that must be unanimous to end early.

It's something you see all the time, and it really doesn't matter what campaign or who's running it: people just sit on an "Early Bird" or limited quantity tier until the last week - or even last day (I've seen three or four actually "pop loose" during the last few minutes, even).

In general, if you watch something and regularly refresh - you will find one open up during the last few days. Not always, of course - and many times not your first choice, but some of those limited tiers and even "Early Bird" pledges 'pop loose' like I said during the last few days.

You've got to wonder why somebody sits on an EB pledge for 28+ days and then jumps off of it with no time for somebody to claim it, though: look through some old projects - even Jackson's for example: a few tiers that were full during basically the entire campaign show up with 1 or 2 and sometimes even 3 or 4 available. Of course they get sold - after the fact, but it's an accounting headache for the campaign.

I originally had the commemorative coin as a 50k stretch goal, but I am "conceding" against the 50k goal and bringing it to you now! So all reward tiers of $80 or higher will have an upgrade with this coin added to the reward.

$80, im still debating if i should get these, not terribly overpriced i think for 3 decks + 1 coin + 1 box + them being limited. I think i just convinced myself..

Somehow this one was off my radar, possibly because I'm not that into French style and more into custom themed decks. However, this one is very well done (again) and saw an EB1 open so finally jumped in. I also don't really have any in this style either. Must resist looking at prior decks in the series, must resist, must resist....


Seriously, I have never had this many open pledges on KS at a time, especially since 9/10 are card projects (even the 10th one is a card game). I was supposed to be moving to quality over quantity, but there's many good ones out there and my collection is still pretty small so just doing some 'catch up' I suppose!

I know how you feel. I overslept 30 minutes and woke up panicked that I missed out. 30 left now.

Damn I slept right through my alarm. 7 am was just too damn early for my shift work body. Ah well congrats to the 99 that got em.

I kinda agree with sms69x, overpriced. Still would've like a set but I'm budgeting myself for a while now.
