I thought maybe the patreon decks became the new focus and those were canceled or something

I feel certain the Patreon member Gold tier deck is something that hasn’t been announced yet. The Silver Tier deck, will be an otherwise available deck, but just a special Patreon backer version. This isn’t replacing anything. It is just a blatant money grab by Lotrek.

A couple of people asked me if they can pledge twice for the Manic Patron's tier or they need to make new accounts...
I don't know what's wrong with people, some definitely need asylum treatment so I just added another tier with that name: "Asylum Patrons". They'll be getting 2 times the Manic's rewards plus their pills.

Humm. I am crazy, but not that crazy I think. I will probably have to step back from the Asylum and just run up a tree and stay manic. 105 Euro a month is steep. Basically 1 deck a month though...hummmm....must resist the urge to step inside.... Since it will be a brick of decks, maybe some special brick box for their 12 decks to go in? Speaking of, how about a half-brick box for us manics? 'Ya know we love you too.

Anyway, congrats to Lotrek for breaking 150 Patrons. I show 153 at this time. A little more time to join before the asylum doors close for the year.

This is the first time I support folks at Patreon. Does anyone pay at Patreon with PayPal? How does it work? Will it charge automatically like with a debit card or do I have to pay manually? If, where is the option for that?

i'm going to assume u have a card linked to the paypal account

- yes, it'll auto charge u monthly (no manual settings required)
- it'll reflect as "paypal *patreon member" on your bank issued card statement
- it charge u either a few cents or a dollar more, than using a card directly

thats my experience from using Paypal; am using credit card directly now.

The problem is that Patreon charges VAT too, which of course doesn't come to me, so for these refunds I'll have to pay more than I got. Working on it...

Would I be able to upgrade my current patreon pledge? I didn't realize there was a new tier until i read this thread recently :O.

Well, some things never change. Lotrek likes to do things behind the curtains and surprise us. I am reminded of a song that Harvonsgard posted awhile back that is just perfect.

My brain just woke up. Perhaps either have them turn off Patreon for you for one month or let them drop off a month early? That way you don't get stiffed the VAT.

now that looks like a Lotrek court i could get behind. Not at his usual prices but i like it.

I expect the final version printed to be much more amazing in person. Lotrek has trained me to expect delays and disasters. That is cool. He has also trained me to expect to be blown away by the final product and not rely on his photoshop skills.

Oath patreon tiers are now open

It looks like I am still in the same plan I have been in, so I am assuming I don't need to do anything if I don't plan to change tiers for next year. I should be good for another year of insanity.

if only mr.oath knew how to create a deck in a year and ship it out 2 us would be even more fantastic then opening up more tiers right now

buddy pulls in over 10k/month min. on 180+ subs and still cant deliver in a timely fashion... hummm 1yr+ and i havent recd anything after $45x12months = $540/year and we have how many decks in hand
