I hope nobody likes sketches more than final art

The next print run is the 3rd of April at Cartamundi, so we have time. I need this week to finish everyting. Then I'll post an update.

Still we backers are very happy with the deck. I actually love the one more than Tikis. This decks series is a great way to show of NZ art and culture.

Eric, I expect to ship all decks on time. It's 30-40 days for USPCC to produce a deck without boxes. Cartamundi will print Black Tiki in April (they are busy at the moment). All looks good. It's just an unexpected amount on work for me as I planned to finish other decks

p.s. I have 24 Black Tiki decks only after Kickstarter. They will be available for pre-order on my site soon (in sets only with Red/White decks). Uncut sheets will be available as well.
I am still planning to print all decks in April.

I'll open pre-orders on my site when Black TIki deck is printed. As I have 24 Black TIki decks only after KS I'll offer just 18 sets:

6 sets: 1 * Black + 2 * Standard (Red and/or White)
6 sets: 1 * Black + 4 * Standard (Red and/or White)
3 sets: 2 * Black + 4 * Standard (Red and/or White)
3 sets: 2 * Black + 6 * Standard (Red and/or White)
Plus all three uncuts.

Price: KS + 10%

I expect to finish in May (not in April as planned).

STOP here!!! No rush! Red/White are "standard" decks (vs. Black Ultra). You can select them when I send a survey. RED+WHITE, Red only or White only. They will be available as I print 1000+1000. You can also add more decks later before fulfillment.

It's a shame that the artwork was not completed before the end of this campaign. The only excuse - I did not plan anything like this at all

I agree! I am trying to push myself and WT is a perfect example. I would have never created this deck without KS and without extremely tight time limits! NEVER!!!

But the reason why each next deck should be better than previous is simple - I am not a designer (it's not a secret) I first started working with Adobe Illustrator on my first deck. It's true. So each next deck is +7.95% to my skills. Six decks (HM, HTv1, Neo, NeoWave, RT, WT) - 6 * 7.95% = 47.7% <--- I am at this level now

Ten decks will be just 79.5%, not even 100.

"A shame" is an understatement. I can't be the only one who looked at the sketch faces, decided they weren't for me, and opted not to pledge, only to find out after the campaign ended that what I'd passed up was a different deck entirely. I think it's also possible, as you seem to have suspected, that there may be those who were more excited by the early previews than by the final iteration (though I think those people's opinions are bad and they should feel bad, Tom ). If any of those folks maintained their pledges because they wanted the version of White Tiki previewed during the campaign, and are feeling less enthusiastic for the updated artwork... I mean, it's no Cottongate by any stretch, but if they feel a bit like the rug got pulled out from under them I don't know that I could blame them.

Lucky for everyone you'll have them available for pre-order later, or you'd have a riot on your hands. Because I would be rioting. [BACON]

I was not as wild about Hello Tiki as I was/am about past/future planned decks by Montenzi. However, Montenzi is one of the creators that I just get one of each of his decks. I just trust it to be good in the end. Montenzi loves to tinker with his deck designs. Perfectionist? Whatever, just get at least one of each of Montenzi's decks.

I think backers are not against WT changes. I did not change back designs, boxes, Red Tiki cards.

All updates:
0. All new White Tiki (including AoS)
1. All pips
2. Black TIki AoS (exclusive)
3. Two vs. Four Jokers for BT (I added two more double backer cards to test red foil back in action. One card is just red foil. Another one - Red + Silver. See below)
4. I'll use two vs. three foils for the Black Tiki box as I need darker black background color. I don''t like black matte foil.

All 10 Jokers (4+4+2) and all three AoS are exclusive.

I have already posted this back before. I'll consider an extension to this series with WT courts (updated WT courts?), updated RT back design with red/silver foil and thin borders.
Maybe next year.

Thanks MagikFingerz for pointing out I forgot to color one of Montenzi's name. Got to get it right for Montenzi.

I will try to get one of each of Montenzi's REGULAR released decks. I know I am not going to get prototypes and special issues. I am sure glad you did them though for others. Your such a softie!

What if I produce two decks in one campaign: GLIDE! and Red Warriors. Summer? Autumn?

They are different but with a similar vibe. Both should be printed with foil at Cartamundi. At this moment I have too many ideas and GLIDE is not my next release.
Instead of box/color swap, I can start a new trend to swap completely different decks within one campaign Hm? By the time of this launch, I could have one more unreleased deck.

Wow, that design is popping. Really liking that style! Were you thinking of just the two decks tgt or having multiple variants of each deck as well (shiny/non shiny)?
