Sent a message today regarding the Classic Two Deck box with gilded decks. Waiting for response. Did anyone else have this pledge and receive anything? I thought last update said shipping in July. Just remembered now that its end of August.

I got my Swedish flag box about six weeks ago, and my two gilded decks about a month ago, now.

I pledged for the Classic as well and haven't received it yet.

Peter and Linnea are very good at getting their decks out on time, but the handmade goods tend to get delayed. I believe they had a busy summer with their commercial art projects. Believe me when I say the wait is well worth it.

Thanks all. I'm not worried, have pledged plenty of Uusi and have a gorgeous swivel box from pagan. Was just curious here. They are normally pretty responsive and would post if there was a delay. Also saw pics of gilded decks so got more excited for mine!

A poker game with the regular guys. No deck garners as much praise for the art and playability from "normal" people like the Uusi Classic decks. Usually, the conversation goes around the lines of, "Why did you spend that much money on these? Just use a regular Bicycle deck." But with the Uusi Classics, they notice.

Tells everything of how amazing decks Uusi does when a Uusi Classic, a masterpiece, is to me their fifth best deck... (1. Blue Blood Redux 2. Pagan 3. BRuT 4. Bohemia)

I really hope there is a new Uusi deck coming this year.

Also bonus points for the Finnish name, Uusi. Finland mentioned by an American, national celebration is in order! (Finnish humor for you)

I dream of a world where wars are fought only by having dance offs. I also dream that a Finnish playing card designer would exist. The former seems more likely to happend.

Despite the decks that came with their most recent tarot projects Uusi has maintained adamantly that they are not going to be producing any more playing cards. Though they were saying this before the tarot projects which did see a new deck for each project respectively, the expectation is that they are done making playing cards as a company.
I’ve been at this a long time. And I’m tired.
