Has anybody received their cards without first receiving a tracking number from USPS? (I've received neither, so far...)

I sent an e-mail to Tyler at honestliar, but that was yesterday morning (a Friday), so I'm not too surprised I haven't heard back yet.

Same here. I sent email to info@ and his personal one. No reply. Was a Wednesday or Thursday I believe.

I had to open a paypal dispute as I was 30 days into my transaction...I finally got an email from Tyler with apologies stating that they would send the deck. I will see what happens

It seems to be a slow process.

Like you, after waiting nearly three weeks without news I wrote to Tyler asking for an update.

A couple of days later I did receive an email back (though from someone else) with a USPS tracking number.

However, it sat there for another three days with a status of "Electronic Shipping Info Received" (so not actually shipped).

This morning, however, it finally changed to "Accepted at USPS Origin Sort Facility" so it seems to be actually underway.

Haven't heard anything, sadly guess I will have to dispute with PayPal. Shame really.

I just lodged a PayPal dispute about an hour ago. I have no recourse as of tomorrow. Hate to do it but I really didn't have an option.

Got this email after sending about three asking for a status update:

"Hi Daniel,

you are owed six Amazing Decks that you paid for on PayPal in support
of our film, An Honest Liar.

First of all, thank you for the support! Our fulfillment operation is
small (just me, while the filmmakers are completing the film), so some
of you have been waiting a while for this deck!

Your decks will be prepared to ship tomorrow. If you like contact me
and I will be able to provide you with the USPS tracking # after 3 pm
tomorrow.

Again,
Thank you for helping us make this film,

Yana Zeltser
Associate Producer"

I got that exact email (well except for the name ;)) Not happy that it's taken a month and numerous emails to get things moving.

On the plus side, while the progress may be slow, it does move ahead. I just got my half-brick today.

Just got my half brick today as well. All in good shape and they do look fantastic! They came with a nice postcard signed by the directors.

…annnd I just received my half-brick today, too. Looks like they shipped from Brooklyn. Although not packed as awesomely as some, they arrived undamaged, and the one deck I opened looks great. I thought I'd read somebody commenting that the cut of the cards seems a little rough, and that is true for the one deck I've opened, but It's nothing too bothersome. They still fan well and handle well. (I've had no practice faro shuffling, so I have no idea how these handle a faro compared with other cards.)

Me neither.

Of course, me complaining about how a deck cuts is about as likely as me complaining about how the Space Shuttle handles.

Got mine (finally). Packaged OK but one was corner damaged. I will open that one so no big deal for now.

I picked up one of the uncut sheets with the campaign. It is signed by Randi
I would love to take it to get it signed by the other "living" members of the courts, like Penn and Teller

Lucky duck!

I may have mentioned this upthread, but I have met most of the living people in the deck, including:

Penn & Teller
Dr. Harriet Hall
Deyvi Peña
James Randi (Joker)

Now that WOULD be a treasure, if you got a few other choice signatures! I'm still waiting for mine, but I do see that it has shipped and apparently is scheduled for delivery Monday. I got on the train relatively late.

Cool!!

Good to know, Eoghann - Thanks!

ETA: ...and thanks AGAIN! - We just watched it!

A bit of an odd feeling, watching a documentary about the life of a dear friend.
