Viridian Playing Cards by Trikard - fulfillment shipped 100%

Unread post by shermjack »

Came across this on Kardify...Trikard (Kardify and Three of Clubs) is planning on a June 17 at 8am Eastern...10USD per deck...from Kardify site:

Beautifully crafted exquisite deck of playing cards. At an unbeatable price. Designed by Ade Suryana, Viridian playing cards feature a custom vintage design, reimagined courts, a beautifully crafted tuck case and a stamp bearing an intricate custom design. A deck that is as beautiful as it is functional, Viridian is the first in Trikard’s new line of Signature playing cards - versatile for magic, card flourishing or even just a game of poker.

Viridian combines distinctive design with the peerless quality of Legends Playing Card Co. The beautiful
typography is based on vintage typeface and inspired from old Billheads and ephemera. The tuck is also
elegantly adorned with beautiful organic patterns which is especially striking. Viridian will be meticulously printed by LPCC, well known for their innovation, attention to detail with exceptional durability, ultra-precise printing registration and the ‘glass like’ edges of their signature ‘Diamond Cut’ process.

From the moment you take the Viridian cards out, you will be comfortable using them. The deck looks amazingly fresh. But it’s visually reminiscent of what you’re used to seeing, and is designed around familiarity. The pips on Viridian have been given an update with timeless custom suits and a bigger font for the lettering and numbers.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of the name. I understand why it's called Trikard, I just don't like it all that much. Either way I'm surly pledging. Looks great!

EDIT: Another pic-

Close enough. I had already seen it, so I probably didn't read the text word for word.

In my mind the graphics speak for themselves.

Took a bit of searching, but I found this. Depends on if you're able to install it at work though.

But... a spell checker won't notice if you spelled the wrong word right. "Surly" was spelt correctly, surely as I'm not Shirley.

No, there's no installing things like that where I work (taxpayer data and such... I've already said too much) but thanks anyway! rouselle is 100% correct- I made a mental error and blamed it on IE :(

Shouldn't the name of the deck be on the front of the tuck? It should say Viridian and then Trikard could be underneath it.

I agree that Viridian should be on the front somewhere, but if Trikard is the brand it's in the same place as any other brand name (Bicycle etc).

TriKard is the Brand, but the real reason we went that direction was for cost savings. With this being a "House" brand every corner we could cut makes the deck less expensive for the end user. So with a neutral tuck design that can be used over and over with just a color change we save the cost of additional plate charges. The cost of seals is relatively inexpensive compared to naming every color variation on the tuck. While we have plans for a "Bells and Whistles" deck, this was made to be an inexpensive, quality working deck.

Hope everyone enjoys it :)

LOL, not all at the same time or campaign Eoghann. We were planning on a new color once a year.

If "Viridian" is just the "name" of the color variation, then I see what you're doing. Then I suppose it's not necessary to have that displayed on the front to the extent that other deck titles are.

Thanks for explaining, Tony :)

Green Viridian courts remind me of Royal Pulp v2 and Carmine courts as Royal Pulp v1.
