To someone who asked, the shipping was $151. That puts me at about $1.25 per deck for shipping![]()

Yeah, I drooled over those the whole time up until they went into the box. Had to wear a bib the whole time.Mike Ratledge wrote:Nice one! The USPCC presentation set given out at a banquet in Cincinnati for their Centennial Jubilee in 1981. I got several, and will post a link to one in Buy/Sell/Trade soon.
Never even taken out of the cardboard sleeve (not shown). The pix of the cards are from Hochman's - I sure would not open one!
US3b & US4b both in a satin lined leatherette case. Reprints of the 1881 decks with a new back so they can't be passed off as the original. Still worth $100 each at least, they were worth $50 each in 2004 without the box and OG insert.

Didn't they have one of these at the 52+ joker silent auction?Mike Ratledge wrote:Nice one! The USPCC presentation set given out at a banquet in Cincinnati for their Centennial Jubilee in 1981. I got several, and will post a link to one in Buy/Sell/Trade soon.

Somebody had one, but I don't think it went into the silent auction. I am pretty certain that I looked at everything, even the unusual and downright odd ones in that. It's possible, people added things right up to the last few minutes this year.Cbkimble wrote:Didn't they have one of these at the 52+ joker silent auction?

Seriously? It really helps when people are giving their parents & grandparents decks away for less than 10% of value. These are shown in Hochman's for $50+$50 value "as issued" in 2004. Oh, well - I have several still in the outer cardboard slipcase.hikeeba wrote:I've got a few of them there Anniversary types myself (of course, with one opened). The last sealed set I bought on eBay last December for $3.25 (+$4.50 ship).
