ISIL won't last - Hacking off every other sect of Islam (both ethe major branches) and stealing sovereign territory of two very powerful Muslim states AND willfully making enemies fo the west is not a recipe for success. The only thing keeping the ground from falling under them is resistence for some of the players to ally (e.g. Obama / Assad). But they will before long.

Have to say I was initially confused as I wasn't sure if that expletive was an adjective or a verb...

(Having just stoked the flames somewhat I would like to warn everyone about getting too political / religious. We arent about exclusion here, nor do we want to devolve into a heated arguments. Discuss away, but, y'know...)

Is this creepy or cool?

I actually thought of something like this. What is never used in a house? The ceiling. You could have a little personal assist on a track system on the ceiling. Of course, it would have a light and a camera. It could have a speaker playing your favorite music following you around in your home. You would have to have little doors for when it goes into different rooms...

Found another piece of puzzle. Sometimes you look back on things and wonder why?

It was right in my face the whole time.

These are the first Wheel of Fortune Tarot Cards. All in the 15th century. The middle one not so much it's a reproduction. Back then they had reproductions. Notice the ass ears...

Just to give you a hint of what I'm trying to do. Look at the arrangement of the first Tarot cards in 1470 compared to today's modern tarot "The Rider-Waite"

Well, those halberds they carry aren't purely ornamental, they can't definitely do some decapatative damage with them. Granted they could do a lot more damage with the full arsenal they have behind the scenes. Also a big fan of the Swiss Guard. The history of their organization and the men themselves are top notch.

Do love me some Marilyn Manson, he's one of my favorite musicians / bands Antichrist Superstar is one of a very few perfect albums, start to finish it's solid all the way through. Back in the late 90s I had multiple copies of the album for each car plus one for the home so I could listen to it whenever / wherever.

If you haven't seen this movie, what's wrong with you? One of the best action movies ever made. Easily on par with if not better than Commando and Predator.

Yeah saw Ep 1.

Basically like any slaughterhouse - Stun then bleed out. Difference is that for cows and such they are led through in such a way that they dont see other slaughter.
Pretty harrowing though - but one problem with the whole series is that the surprise deaths are no longer surprising and the Deus Ex Machina saves are all too common. Saved by an administrative pedant and impossibly well aimed firework? Come on.

Kinda wanted them to have the balls to kill off a main character at the trough...

TBH the series is getting dull. I can't see myself watching the spinoff.

I only really liked the first season. And maybe the second. IMHO the zombies would be a lot fewer by now, if not close to gone all together. Where are the hordes possibly still coming from? What are these things living on when they are found immobile but still alive? Seems to me even they would die of starvation after a while. Are they too afraid to actually write a good story where people are just dealing with the aftermath of this event? The melodrama and artificiality is getting really tiresome.

I watch it on dvd rental, don't subscribe to TV, so I haven't seen the latest season at all.

Be honest, how much of the "new" posts in here (since you posted last) did you read?

I'm betting it's either 0 or all :ugthink:

I am just starting to review them. To be honest, Sprouts stuff is too much for even me sometimes. But I will certainly familiarize myself with the on goings. CBJ, its great to see you here. I trust all is well with you and your family in lovely Canada.

I was reading that Mike R says he is quite sick. I work in a hospital setting and I hate to say but his symptoms sound very similar to Ebola. I suggest he stay away from UC for twenty one days as a precautionary measure. For all of you who have had close internet contacts with Mike R while he has been symptomatic sprouts will be dispensing medications to all of you under my directions. Do not get nervous and run off to that other playing card forum, I think we will all be safe, maybe.

Svinger, don't worry. I am not familiar with Don Boyer much but I do know he has an overwhelming compulision to write in every single thread, usually without putting much thought into it. He has a subconscious compellsion to let every one know how smart and in the loop he thinks he is. It wouldn't surprise me if he has struggled with addiction in the past and I am willing to bet he has spent many years working in a union setting, perhaps even a delegate and cherishes every time someone asks him a question as he will be able to give a loquacious reply even though he didn't really hear the question asked of him in the first place. People such as he are unable to meditate upon the sound of one hand clapping. He does good works, but when good works are shouted from the roof top the cease being good works. They have become nothing more than look at me.

You do not fit that bill. You are sharing knowledge and good cheer and never claim to be an expert citing any elbows you may rub against in the card industry. I don't even know Don Boyer but I could probably list every one in magic and cards that he knows as he has posted it three thousand times

On a positive note Don did stick up for the VORTEX DECK since its inception and provided comfort to Alex and Robert Butler as they scammed the community Say what you will about Robert Butler but the guy must be a genious as he has ripped so many people of and is somehow still getting his criminal hands into peoples legitimate businesses. Perhaps Robert Butler is the brilliant one.

So you are fine Svinger, I probably have learned the vast majority of my playing card knowledge from you and Randy and Im sure many others here will attribute much of there knowledge to you. Besides, I am just getting back, the battle has just begun.
