It would be simple to update the people supporting him.. 3 weeks now since updating on uc but nothing yet on ks. All this nonsense aside it will be great to have decks in hand.

I would never understand why some decks are add-ons only during the campaign, but when retail comes it's just there. I really wanted to get the legacy edtion (the black gilded one) but I didn't like to get multiple decks when possible, as expensive as they are. So I settled for the non gilded black edition with a hint of bad taste in my mouth. Now I see this on socal and feel gutted.

I also learned a lot since this campaign, that as long as it doesn't say KS only edition, you're better off waiting for retail. You hear it all the time, but it hits different when you feel it yourself.

I was the one who asked him, but I wasn't expecting a response anyway. If we don't get the decks (backers outside the US), I won't even be surprised. Absolutely minimum communication on KS and he posted an update 1 month later.... Half of his message was to tell us how he single-handedly numbered 33 decks and then had them celo-wrapped!! Oh, and how he "suspects" that fulfilment should start soon

Time after time given overly favorable opportunities to step up but the mud is so thick now that I assume it's a wash. Gl to the man and his followers.

Legacy Edition is listed $21 on Vanishing Inc. I think they will cancel it but got an order in, just in case :ugdance:

Edit: I emailed to confirm and they fixed it

Looking at KS update, what he said was:

“We are closer than ever to finally having the decks in your hands.

The pallet of Beetle Backs has arrived at Gambler's Warehouse and the decks are being counted and processed.

I suspect the fulfillment should start as soon as Gambler's can schedule it.”

I imagine as much as he can say. He obviously would like it fast, knows others want it yesterday, and gamblers isn’t likely to treat him like a VIP

What is point of this? What is end goal with this, idk, is it supposed to be a fact check i don't get it. A fun one is the guy saying on ks he was sure Omar would update soon. Haha it had been over 2 weeks already since update on uc so what made that guy think to say that besides damage control.

Well that was me. And I commented that on the campaign because it seemed a heck of a lot more useful to give out updated information than just aggressively whining or whatever it is you've been doing on this forum lately.

My post conveyed what was said in full and it was a clarification, not a fact check. People can make up their own minds as to the difference, but I see a rather clear one.

Apropos of nothing, the best thing about trolls is if you don't feed them, they eventually they eventually go back into their cave or otherwise find a more fertile ground to feed upon.

It will be ok, one way or another civility will ensue.

As for determination if strag has earned the right to use the word troll or if that counts as personal attack I will leave to other mods - as I don’t have the time to make fair determination at this moment if the post gets an edit - I loathe the need to spend time to consider such things, thus civility makes my life easier, and everyone else’s more pleasant.

We can try this.

No one will call anyone a troll, and I will make my own determination if someone is acting as such and gets the boot - until an admin says otherwise. I will give that person one warning if called for, perhaps a second - but somewhere between offense 1 and 3 at my own determination based upon nature of offense - the boot.

Or, you can just try to be civil and not make me become the hatchet man.

Nothing wrong with being a bit antagonistic - even more that a bit has its place - but it also has its limits and its proper targets.

When people have miserable lives, they have to try to make others miserable to feel better. That is the food of the troll. History has not been kind to these folks as it's an awful survival mechanism.

Looking forward to receiving these decks soon. I'm sure Omar can't wait to have these in the rearview mirror. Between these and the Wyrmwood projects, things must've been disheartening.

When turd nuggets all get together to smell their own farts it's a ancient ritual that bonds their turds into one glorifying aroma.

Let’s just say that being mistaken for a troll and being a troll are both fixable conditions, for anyone wanting to not want to make other people miserable.

Even being called one inappropriately can be taken care of as easily, without need for argument, if one chooses.

Certainly the turd nugget trail is not going to work in the long run - but as a one shot after being called a troll, I think it was earned - assuming it is at an end.

Gandalf, you have always been the ultimate voice of reason here with the patience of a saint. I cannot begin to tell you how much I admire your tact and attempts at civility. I, for one, think JazzBaloo has used up all his moments and his latter two posts were the height of disrespect. I vote for a total ban and I can't wait to see what alias he uses next time.

It’s perfectly fine whether it be actual applause or sarcastic statement - but I did mean what I said.

To that reply I simply give it the benefit of the doubt - and either way we are going to end with a civil forum.

By benefit of doubt I mean that it does not yet mean to me yet that he is asking to be banned, but simply testing my calm or happy with my stance - fine with either.

I don’t know if this is a last bit of steam before swords are put down or if its some attempt at getting banned while feeling unjustly treated - but I intend to provide enough just treatment to rule out the latter.

If a ban is given, it will have been fully earned - and while it is arguable we are already there I am not at all certain this needs to end that way - though I appreciate how difficult it is to lose an argument you don’t feel you have lost, we still need civility, which is at this point a word I feel I have had to type too many times.

Can it be an IP ban this time so he can keep his nonsense to himself permanently and not just sign up for another username yet again? For those unaware, CCwonder was his old account, which was previously banned.
