I find that copy very ambiguous/clumsy - do we mean June the month or June a person

Most notably, June designed the
Botany deck and was involved in the design of several of the Table Players decks.

for the first time in a deck by a producer I usually buy everything from, not sure about this one.
Sushi decks have been done a few times recently.

The artworks look so graphical, which is uncommon for Jackson to do this kind of style. Hmm, we will see how it goes:

So far, there are only two that I quickly recall of "sushi" decks:
Sushi Cats by Hyuga & Michiko
Sushi Salmon Nigiri & Tuna Nigiri by BaoBao Restaurant
Unless if there are more, this upcoming KWP deck will be the third one.

I can resist the cute design of cartoon-style sushi deck lately. What I won't be able to resist is a cute sushi mini . I am in.
"But why male models?"

Easy pass for me, really hope he gets back the currency decks and does some “new” literature decks not V2 of past projects

Does anyone actually LIKE bar separators? Every once in a while they don't bother me, but between that design choice and the lack of color I'm underwhelmed.

I hate them as I think it's a great deviation from traditional playing card designs, which I'm fond of. However, I also consider the artist. JR has proven himself as a great artist so I give him artistic freedom at this point.
I'm also underwhelmed by these but I'll most likely be lurking at least.

I certainly don't
mind bar separators, and I prefer them to badly-done two-way courts -- but I also don't mind full-length one-way courts so maybe my opinion is weird

Except these aren't JR but June Hyde who did the design.
Peresonally I think that the mini decks lend themselves well to this concept, but like others I'm not a fan of the design style. Green gilding would have also been a nice touch to emulate nori. When I think of sushi I think of bright colours.
