Socal Playing Cards - Henry Cortez

Unread post by BaconWise »

I had a fantastic and trouble-free experience with Henry and his newly-launched website, socalplayingcards.com

My deck was priced well and it came with a free, high-quality sticker, to boot. The shipping was quick and cheap and he offered tracking as well. Very pleased and excited to see his inventory keep growing. Great start so far, Henry!

EDIT: I forgot to mention it came in one of our very own shermjack sleeves from CaratCaseCreations!

Another flawless transaction with Socal. Took advantage of a Kings Wild sale and couldn't be happier. Shipping is only $3.50 and includes tracking AND Sherman's awesome CCC sleeves. Fantastic seller. Check out his growing inventory! Thanks Henry for the great decks.

Sorry to break in on Henry's thread, but I wanted to say those sleeves by Carat Card Creations really are great. I bought...lots of them from Sherman so I could put most most of my decent decks in them. They provide nice protection for the decks/tucks and take up minimal space.

I had a problem with an auction on socalplayingcards.com. Henry Cortez fixed the issue immediately. He went so far beyond normal fixes that I will be a lifelong customer.
His communications have always been kind and respectful.

It must be staring me in the face BUT can anyone tell me how I access my Watchlist on Socal

Another Q? I am sure I saw VOID playing cards at the top of Henry's 'Newly Added' (homepage) yesterday with "plenty available" but today they're not there and cannot even be found with a site search - Am I going nuts or did someone else see them too?

There should be a small heart at the bottom right of each page, that leads here: https://socalplayingcards.com/pages/swym-wishlist?

I thought of bidding for my first uncut this morning but the good guy that Henry is - he had a warning for internationals to contact him about shipping first
Uncuts are gently rolled and sent in a tube and Henry hates the postage price for it is $63us for a tube to Australia!

The price of shipping tubes anywhere feels like a scam. One went to Italy, about $45 via UPS.

Would it be cheaper to put the tube in a rectangular box? The opposite of thinking outside the box.
