i dont really see this as a rule of thumb for this kind of design and it does not bother me at all. however, i also have a set of pet peeves that just bother me. it is funny how different things bother different people.rousselle wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2024 6:56 am As a general rule for a two-way back, the upper half should look right-side-up and the lower half should look upside-down. Take a look at a standard bicycle back and you'll see what I mean.
I've gotten to the point where whenever I notice this on a deck, it absolutely drives me crazy.

i am sure that one could look through a number of charities, that maybe they do not agree with, and find a small or large number of actions, in isolation of themselves, that are noble. that may be the case here. however, that doesnt change their actions or beliefs that are objectionable. of course, what is deemed noble or objectionable is often very subjective.GandalfPC wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2024 2:51 am as buzzwordy as you may have found it (and I do admit they come across pretty strong), that second charity seems pretty busy doing pretty non-offensive work helping improve the plight of a lot of women around the world, who do seem to have a laundry list of needs - for example:

this, unfortunately, is a big problem with many charities.

A big part of the promotions and theme for this deck is the charitable aspect. Is it ok if we discuss the legitimacy of said charity?

I questioned internally if the salaries were too high but there is probably a lot of work that goes into running such a large organization that has many moving parts. I was not at all being sarcastic when I said it was good to see that they weren't making millions.GandalfPC wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2024 2:38 pm The ceo has actually been replaced. As for the high salaries, it does seem odd, but people at that level are courted by various places to gather up tons of money for them and finding respectable ways to spend it - I’ll know the world is a better place when these people do the job gratis, or when the job is done.
Just an acting Ceo at the moment:
