Pilgrim's Progress Playing Cards by Talking Point Cards (ill. Peter Voth)

Unread post by laitostarr777 »

Talking Point Cards (previously, Elephant Cards) releases yet another striking Biblical stuff - a deck based on the "Pilgrim's Progress" by Paul Bunyan. And guess who will be designing this deck? Yes, it's Peter Voth, the one who brings you Cross Playing Cards

I can tell you Allan will hate that back, haha.
You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

I really the tuck and courts, but the backs are not working for me. It’s not enough to stop me from getting a couple though! I also picked up some Alpha & Omega decks, they’re a great price. In the bundle and with 25% off they’re under $10 a deck.

I used to collect early copies of Pilgrim's Progress. Those are notoriously hard to find and expensive. I think my earliest copy was early 1720's. I do have one of his books I got at auction from something like 1690. I remember it was printed while he was still alive. I think the first edition was only 400 copies. Two of those first editions are in the British Museum.

Bloody hell, that's impressive! Were I wearing a hat then I would take it off.

Prime day sale, only 12.95 per deck. at talking point

One catch, it won't appear on search unless you change the currency to USD. Not sure if they'll deliver overseas or not, but you can ask their customer support to see if they can help with it.
