Re: Hunting Deck 2nd Edition by Ian Cumpstey
I am in but the price of a deck is very, very high. Especially compared to his earlier KS campaigns. I am in for 3 (normally, I would get half a brick of his decks) and with shipping it comes out to over $25 per deck. Nothing special about the decks or tucks that seem to warrant such a steep price, and they are bridge sized.

I grabbed a half brick - was in for an early bird pair but just wanted to up my Cumpstey support more than the deck count.

Yes, I am in and I appreciate that it is a new deck with new backs and tuck for a deck that so many of us wanted to get our hands on but in order to keep that nice feeling of buying a limited edition, I think that it would have been even better to have at least one more difference - maybe new Tens
As it stands now, I cannot help but think another batch of anything Ian has done, could be released without any change to the faces. I guess I am guilty of liking some of my decks to be exclusive

I am guilty of the same, and don’t go for v2 often, certainly not heavily - but I’m making an exception here.

The campaign has an update where Ian is offering a couple of old decks as add ons (at prices cheaper than his website) including an 'imperfect factory seconds' of The Great Parade Tarot which has previously been listed as Sold Out

It is funded and you no doubt will be able to pick them up from Ian's Northerndisplayers webpage later but at what price?

Re: Inglewood Hunting Deck 2nd Edition by Ian Cumpstey
Of absolutely no concern for this art deck but it is interesting to note how the .5mm movement of the dotted back pattern through cutting is highlighted/clearly seen when viewing the side of the deck
This is my first Bridge size deck. It is probably in keeping with the historical origins of the deck but I am amazed at how 2¼" width compared to 2½" seems like a lot more than a 10% reduction in card area. Ideally I would like more of this beautiful art, not less.
I read online that most casinos in the USofA use bridge size decks - is that really true?

Hopefully this is true!
Should this go in the Shimmering Seven thread?
