These are fantastic! The original matchbox deck is my favorite and this is a great companion to it.

I usually get the boxed editions but this one is a wee bit out of my range. I am happy to get one of the standard decks - I love Chet's work!

I'm still trying get hold of the first matchbox deck but will happily grab this one while I can, even with the exorbitant shipping price that's more than the price of the deck.

Art is undebatable on these (as on the other decks from Chet). I really dislike the cheap looking "chetart.com" on the bottom of the tuck box though. Like, really, really dislike.
You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

I have both editions of all his decks but regrettably won't be getting a limited edition deck this time. The cost is ridiculous. I emailed him expressing my disappointment on pricing so many people out of this edition. His reply was that he really wanted to pull out all the stops with a special edition this time. Unfortunately all the custom work by Julie and quality materials meant a higher cost. Sigh. Another hole in my collection. I hate being a competionist.

There, there. It gets easier with time.

Not much easier. And, it takes a lot of time.

But, it does get easier.

...

Also, I'm putting an "L" into the quote above to make you a completionist rather than a competionist. Although, that also sounds tough.

It doesn't get easier. You just learn that you can only be a completionist for some things.

Being a finite being in an infinite universe makes being a completionist an endeavour bound to fail. Like trying to do all push-ups.

I'd normally comment on how I hate when "non-playing card designs" are depicted on playing cards but the art is just SO good I'm not only going to look past that, I'm probably going to buy one.

EDIT: Does anyone know the printer?

Chetart is having a BFCM sale. 20% off everything in the store and on Etsy. Great time to pick up his decks if you haven't got them.

Thank you! That discount was enough to convince me to get the Limited edition.
