I picked up a deck from the Aesop Rock store when these came out, I like a few of his songs and the art is dope so why not Still kinda hate the courts they use though...

it would have been great with some kind of custom courts matching the rest of the design. i cannot describe how much i dislike standard court bodies with real people faces pasted on them.

What irks me the most is the colour scheme of the courts. The orange fits nothing on the tuck and back design. That rift is what makes the deck from potentially best Orbit deck to mediocre at best.

This deck definitely makes me appreciate that the majority of a poker deck are number cards.

the beach deck is neat looking but i always get disappointed when i open orbits up and see the real people faces on the standard court bodies. i only bought the last deck of orbits because the color scheme was orange. it may be my last orbit purchase unless they do something with those courts.

Nothing new for Orbit decks. Doesn't help that Daniel Schneider is the lead designer.
When it comes to Orbit decks I wish I could get a deck made from 52+4 double backers.

i didn't realize DS was the designer for them. that does make a lot of sense now. i am surprised they haven't used his revolutionary 2 years in the making standard courts with slightly straighter lines if you zoom in really close courts.

Daniel started to work for Orbit quite early on. Don't take my word for it but if I recall correctly he's on board since the V3. Orbit uses DS courts.

I have always loved Orbits, I am definitely attracted to simple designs but it is surprising I like these as I hate taggers and the unsightly mess they create in our city. The promo spiel says the New York subway system and graffiti art are the inspiration but I do not consider tags as art.

Another reason I probably should not have got these is the fact that they are blatantly marked readers and although I appreciate marked decks and have plenty, I don't really need more. It is a pity that they did not make an unmarked edn too

I bought a few so I might use a silver metal pen and graffiti a deck myself in order to make them playable

I am used to Daniel Schneider's personal courts but does anybody know who the JoC is? I will attach a pic of it and the joker and AoS etc when attachments are working again. Or you can see the Joker and Ace here on P52 (I should have put the JoC in the gallery too!)

I have been busy adding my own graffiti to one of my half brick of CC Orbit V4 so that it is no longer 'marked'

The way it photographs makes my covering blobs more noticeable than they are in real life
The best silver opaque pen I found is a little more metallic than the writing on the backs but not that much

I am only doing it for a bit of fun And it may well be the only unmarked CC Orbit V4 in the world

The question is : "Will more be less in this case?" - in that, would adding a few more blotches blend in better than just two.

I am beyond hyped up for these. I don't pay attention much to the markings so I probably wouldn't notice them anyways. I usually play games like pitch or hold em. I hope the V9s are only 1 deck and not a parallel so it doesn't hurt my wallet too much. Thanks for the additional photos. Can't wait to get my hands on the deck I ordered.
