Re: The Successor by TGW/Kevin Cantrell
Its a really astonishing debut. Considering Jackson had a 200k first day and we are at 200k in 4 hours. I don't think we can keep pace. Jackson just had too many backers. But it's astonishing nonetheless.

You should be very proud of your success Omar and I'm happy to be a part of it.
Albeit I was a bit surprised that the friendly EU shipping turned out to be as expensive as having the decks coming from overseas but that's a great campaign and a beautiful project.
It could be also interesting to have some Tale of the Tempest as add-ons as well. Just a thought...
All the best

so... i wanted to check the final price and you cannot even get the white edition as an add on now? lol. well, confirmation that there is absolutely no reason for me to back this campaign. i guess with the success of the campaign i knew this would have this will only embolden creators to continue these practices. a bitter sweet victory.

Its a shame global shipping is what it is. My prices are based on Lorenzo's for EOTO. So they are pretty up to date.gimmeallthedecks wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 3:24 pm You should be very proud of your success Omar and I'm happy to be a part of it.

i am sure others will be thrilled if you do but I'm good with not backing this campaign. beautiful items but too many practices that i don't care to support. not even having the white deck available as an add on as told it would be from the campaign announcement months ago is just, we will say wrong. lucky for you hundreds of others don't care enough or enjoy getting raked over the coals by creators in this hobby.TheGentlemanWake wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 3:51 pmNot yet. going from gating the white deck behind one deck to 3. you may as well not make it an add on now. i would be pissed even more if i had bought the 4 or 5 deck tier to get the white deck to seeing you reduce it back to an add on that i only had to spend $19 extra, but hey, you'll end up getting at least $34 more dollars out of those people so its a win right?

Will the backerkit add-ons be available to anyone who's bought the standard $19 decks and up? Just confirming as someone who's never used backerkit or KS. Also curious if the white deck add-ons (when they do get added to backerkit) will be $75?TheGentlemanWake wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 3:51 pmNot yet. It’s seems I’m not a fool after all! Phew. I promise you I was worried there for a minute or 1000. Trust me that sigh of relief I let out was as earnest as they come.rousselle wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 5:12 pm Omar: Congratulations! Any chance of a prism display deck? Simple tuck, no gilding. I like the back design and colors a lot.

For that matter. Will there be a sample Prism single card included as it was in the Tempest campaign?

Ooh, this will be a great idea. I opened my TotT Prism and Dynastinae decks (some of my favorite decks I own), but for those who do not free the pips and for those who cannot afford to purchase the decks, having a card from the series would be great to own, and potentially display. I got the 4 deck Monarch tier, there were tons of EBs available so I didn't have to rush.

I certainly would if I didn't have to put another 18$ for shipping. Re: The Successor by TGW/Kevin Cantrell
Yeah the shipping does seem excessive. I went to get the EB Claim to the Throne as a reserve for now for which shipping was $55. Ok fine, I know the sarcophagus is heavy. However when I went to add on individual decks of Red Blue and Black is was another $6 per deck to add on? Sorry, that is insane to be adding $18 in shipping costs for 3 additional decks on top of an already hefty $55 in shipping (from Germany to the UK no less). I'm now up to $73 shipping for 9 decks and a fancy box. Nope, not buying it.

Re: The Successor by TGW/Kevin Cantrell
I've ended up switching from "brick tier + individual decks" (40 + 3*6 = 58 EUR shipping) to "5 deck tier + brick" (22 + 35 = 57 EUR shipping). So both around 61 USD. Berlin->Prague shipping is at max third of this price, cause it's really just around the corner. But at least price for the whole thing went down from 438 EUR to 421 EUR. I certainly hope there will be some extras. So far I feel like sponsoring the free shipping in Germany and USA.Strag wrote: ↑Wed May 25, 2022 7:27 am Yeah the shipping does seem excessive. Edit: I ran some quotes for the expected package size and weight and it went from 20 EUR (GLS, DPD) to 28 and 32 EUR (FedEx and FedEx priority).

Re: The Successor by TGW/Kevin Cantrell
Shipping is expected to go up considerably by the time we are ready to fulfill these items. What I can say is that my shipping tables are built around those Lorenzo used for EOTO. Additionally I can promise that if shipping is indeed overcharged I will do my best to make good on it. Backers will perhaps receive some form of additional items as a gift or some credit during post campaign surveys. The shipping costs feel excessive because the world shipping situation is.
Regarding the sarcophagus. Even at $55 it may be undercharged. The box it is shipped in is large. And a lot of packaging materials are required to make sure it arrives in pristine condition.

Yeah I know the world shipping can be expensive, but I'm talking about 2 EU capitols 3 hours by car from each other.TheGentlemanWake wrote: ↑Wed May 25, 2022 7:58 am Shipping is expected to go up considerably by the time we are ready to fulfill these items.
