Bikefanatic, I felt the same thing -- the blue foil on a blue background, it just doesn't pop like Gold on Black do on Gold Monarchs or the Red/Blue do on regular Metalluxe Rider Backs.


That box though... Gold Foil + Blue Foil... yumm.

It seems that this is USPC pushing MetalLuxe tech to get to do edge printing and double foil without the usual registration and issues they had with metalLuxe earlier. That's good to see them pushing their MetalLuxe printing like that. (It could go so much faster if they hired Lotrek as a consultant! )

Now just waiting till they get to where the backs and fronts are also MetalLuxe like they did with the Royal Bee 168 deck.

Can anyone show realistic photo of the card backs? Want to know how the MetalLuxe contrasts.

Yea I wanna see a photo too. Is it obvious that a red version will appear soon?

Not sure about that. Eventually but for now the Bee Metalluxe only comes in red so maybe they planned on just red and blue with those two decks and not with every back design.

The foil is a bit more bright blue, while the ink is more of a muted slightly purpley blue. I threw a couple of other white backed decks in for comparison sake.

It all depends on how the light hits it. When I tried to get some light reflecting off of it , you can really see/tell it's foil. But I took a dead on picture in a room without overhead light and the foil looked pretty flat against the blueish background.

Also, don't judge me or my faros, the full-bleed blue on these chips like nothing else...
