Looks kind of cool, but courts seem a bit busy with all the extra lines and honestly as soon as I saw four versions I was immediately decided on passing.. I'm really burnt out by these multi deck releases, like there's four here and I'd be shocked if it stopped there and there weren't like another set of gilded and 1-2 others added

I really like the backs. Tucks are good. My first reaction to the courts was that the images / illustrations don't match the backs. But, the more I look at them, the more I like them... even though I'm still not sure they go with the backs. I'm going to have to ponder this one. I'm on the fence. It's good work, just not sure if it pushes me over the edge....

I don’t fault you one bit for expecting more versions, but this is all of them. I wanted everything up front this time. No surprises

Thanks for the kind words! I’ve actually adjusted the colors of the faces recently to match the tuck boxes. As far as style and content, I wanted it to be in stark contrast to the box. (Much like Tough Luck was). I’ve always been interested by the underlying creepiness of Scandinavian folklore.

I tend to want at least 2 designs as for international it helps with the pain of shipping costs. When it comes to 4 designs, I have to really like them to want to go that far (because I am a "buy 2" collector... one to open and want to keep pristine). I'm on the fence right now but likely will go for it.

Absolutely! And I'm sorry the changes didn't really work out in your favor. It really came down to a last minute change of strategy in order to try and hit certain print numbers to keep the cost from getting out of hand. By itself I liked the black/gold version, but tbh never really felt like it fit with the others.

It definitely won't be on this campaign, but if the deck is ever revisited in the future there will be a black/gold for sure.... for the both of us
