Wow, I am shocked at how quickly they are rolling out the KS campaigns. They just finished the previous campaign for Ox within the past week or two at most. That being said, I do like the overabundance of foil and the tuck.

I'm pretty sure they are rolling them out at this pace because they are all already fully designed and ready to go. They have done Pig and Rat already and Ox just finished. They just launched Tiger. But if you look at the very first picture, they already have decks (at least prototypes) for Rabbit as well as Dragon.
As much as I enjoy seeing Asian myth and stories being made into decks, I'm glad I didn't back this. Too garish and design is all over the place. So much to the point that the design elements of the courts get lost. Some may enjoy this type of extravagance, but there's something to be said for elegant design and letting the main design elements stand out.
My opinion on these cards is the same as the previous campaign: 100% buy UNTIL YOU NOTICE THE DISASTROUS INCLUSION OF TEXT AT THE TOP OF THE COURTS.
I have a hard time properly expressing how important the dissonance is between the courts and the courts with text. It's almost like the difference between hooking up with Alexandra Daddario and sucking off a dog. YOU RUINED IT. It looks TERRIBLE. I HATE YOU.

Actually, I find it a nice touch that those were added as it's fitting for the whole theme of the Chinese Zodiac. It's very common for Chinese zodiac to have those texts as those are the horoscopes for each animal. The lucky numbers is really a thing for the Chinese. Wouldn't be complete without it
But that's of course very subjective on who likes what

In the initial campaign of this set I had pledged for the full limited edition set. It actually wasn't too pricey. In the end I dropped it. I couldn't get over the design of the courts and all of the number card pips being on a background that didn't work for me.
The limited tucks are so awesome though. After seeing this with the orange foil I almost wished I had kept that pledge. U till I scrolled further and saw the courts again.
